The rapid development of information technology provide new ideology for subject teaching.How to better use the IT in subject teaching is the topic to research for educational researcher and front-line teachers at present.The physical experiments are the important component of physics that for students to study physics.however in the practical teaching,many middle schools don't have an effective teaching due to the limited laboratory condition,which can't satisfy the study demands of every student.Vatual reality VR technology is a technology that function in a broad imaging room,not only simulate the real environment to broaden the awareness scale of people,but also to build and make some physical phenomena which is hard to observe in reality.This research attempts to use the VR technology to redevelop the physical experiment in middle schools.Applying the VR technology to the teaching of physical experiment in middle schools.Researching on the teaching analysis,teaching design,teaching development,teaching implementation and teaching assessment And building two teaching methods,as grouping inquiry in VR experiment teaching and VR experiment teaching by demo.Solving the real problems that "teachers teach,students listen "" less opportunities for students to observe the experiments "" students can't totally understand the theory of experiments " through using the VR scenes to motivate students'curiosity of physical phenomena to research the essence of experiments,to cultivate their abilities of solving problems and innovation.Via the VR experiments to improve the teaching effect of teachers and learning effect of students,to research the value of VR technology in physical experiments teaching.The results of research show:the redesigned experiments by VR technology in this research obviously improves students'nterest to physical experiments in middle schools and their attitudes to study;effectively helping students better understand the difficulties and mastering the content of experiments,enhancing the communication between teachers and students,and students to students;proving the effectiveness of two teaching methods built,finding the problems of VR technology application by practice,and putting forward to the solution countemeasures and advice.The development of VR experimental resource and the equipment of VR parts are the problems that deserve to be concerned about in the future research.
