Research On Family Education Expenditure Of Rural Compulsory Education Under The Background Of New Urbanization

Education is an important undertaking related to people's livelihood and plays an important role in economic development and social civilization progress.More and more farmers realize local urbanization which not only reduces the economic cost of leaving home and going out to work,but also improves the family economic income.Rural parents are deeply aware of the importance of "knowledge changes fate".In order to obtain high-income work and higher social status in the future,rural parents are paying more attention to their children's academic performance and the quality of school education.At the same time,the rural parents increase the proportion of expenditure on their children's education.At present,the gap between urban and rural education is relatively large.The problems in the implementation of the rural compulsory education funds guarantee system still restrict the balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education.Rural parents increase the expenditure of family education funds for their children when the economic income level increases.The purpose of this paper is to take rural schools in A Town of Hubei Province as an example,using the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview,to analyze the current situation and problems of family education expenditure under the condition of improving the economic income of rural families.Then to analyze the causes of the problems and put forward constructive suggestions from the perspective of government,school and family.The main problems of rural family education expenditure include:family education expenditure pays more attention to economy than emotion;the proportion of education expenditure in family consumption structure is unreasonable;the effect of family education expenditure is poorly and the conditions of rural compulsory education schools are poorly.In order to standardize the expenditure behavior of rural family education funds,the writer puts forward suggestions,mainly including:increasing the investment in rural compulsory education funds;narrowing the gap between urban and rural education,integrate urban and rural education;improving the supervision mechanism,improving the efficiency of the use of education funds;reforming the evaluation method of secondary school entrance examination;improving rural school learning conditions;establishing communication channels between home and school;improving the quality of educators in family education;rationally allocating the expenditure structure of family education funds;establishing a correct concept of family education.
