Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of College Students' Financial Aid Work

College students' financial assistance is fundamental to putting into practice the national strategies of revitalizing the country through education,science and technology.It is closely related to poverty alleviation and social justice,which refers to strong policy,a huge amount of fund and targets in a broad area.Those targets with financial aids are relatively well-educated,having brought great social benefits and raised public attention.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the research on college students' financial aid work.In our country it represents unique characteristics,on which domestic theoretical research lags behind work practice.It is urgent to strengthen the research from the professional point of view to make it more systematic and theoretical.By doing so,the financial aid work in colleges and universities is expected to be more comprehensive,accurate and lasting forward.Based on current policies and its implementation situation in Hubei province and author's long-term experience in student aid,the paper studies China's current student aid policies and their implementation,describes the major patterns,basic features and status quo of student aid in a systematic approach,tries to identify existing issues and to analyze the causes so as to make clear the boundaries of responsibilities between the government,public institutions directly in charge,higher education institutes and college students.The paper also aims to provide suggestions on improving government measures,simplifying workflow,accurately identifying underprivileged students,strengthening institutional capacity building as well as compliance oversight.The paper consists of five parts.Part one gives an introduction on the research background,significance and methodology and reviews on related studies on student aid at home and abroad.In part two,the author analyzes the historical development,forms and features of Chinese college students' financial aid work.Part three expounds college students'financial aid projects,related standards,its overall situation and implementation effects according to data from Hubei province.Part four provides a detailed analysis of the existing issues in college students',financial aid and deep causes.Part five offers suggestions on healthy and efficient improvements of college students' financial assistance.
