As the saying goes,"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”This sentence has a very important enlightening significance for today's education.In teaching,teachers should not only teach students knowledge,but also teach them how to learn knowledge.As one of the most important and difficult points in Chinese teaching,writing teaching has always been called“old and difficult".However,if teachers can guide students to master some common writing strategies and apply them flexibly,then write compositions will be easier for students.Therefore,this paper chooses the research point of writing strategies to carry out.Writing strategies refers to the activities in which the writer conceives,organizes,ch ecks and modifies the composition and plans,monitors and adjusts his/her writing proces s.The application of writing strategies has a very positive significance to stimulate students'interest,improve students',writing efficiency,and form students'writing accomplishment.The specific content of this study is mainly divided into the following points.Firstly,this study by analyzing the requirements of Chinese language curriculum standards for primary school students to write compositions and referencing writing strategies extracted from native curriculum standards of British Columbia,California,Japan and compares them,analyzes writing strategies students should master based on the three stages of writing(preparation stage,writing stage,revision stage).Secondly,in order to understand the application of writing strategies of senior primary school students,this study adopted three methods:questionnaire survey,interview survey and work analysis.The following conclusions are drawn:the application frequency of writing strategies is closely related to the writing level,there is no significant gender and grade differences in the application of writing strategies,the frequency of students' application of writing strategies is not high,the students' cognition of writing strategies is scattered,and the difficulty of translating strategies cognition into strategies action.Finally,this study puts forward some practical suggestions from the precondition,concrete measures,problems that need attention to improve the application level of writing strategies of senior primary school students.Firstly,teacher needs change the concept of writing teaching,realize the importance of writing strategies,reserve knowledge of writing strategies.The specific measures are to make students understand writing strategies initially,to guide students to internalize writing strategies step by step,to instruct students to practice writing strategies flexibly,and to encourage students to apply writing strategies independently,and feedback on the application of students'writing strategies timely.What's more,in the teaching of writing strategies,teacher needs to focus on the key strategies,pay attention to the cultivation of students' ability of high-level processing,and grasp the two starting points of writing strategies teaching.
