Digital learning resources for early childhood education are an important assistant means for the integration of information technology and early childhood education for 3-6 years old children.As a kind of digital learning resources,early childhood education software has become the technical core of early childhood education informatization.Mobile Internet has given birth to a form of early childhood education software oriented to mobile intelligent terminals-App for preschool education has sprung up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.However,the quality of APP in preschool education is different.At present,there is no unified relevant evaluation standard in China.To a certain extent,it leads to the "blind" consumption of consumers,which can’t meet the needs of preschool education.Faced with the current situation that the number of APPs in early childhood education is increasing and the quality can’t be guaranteed,how to screen out high-quality APPs in early childhood education and how to establish scientific and effective evaluation criteria have become an urgent problem to be solved.Firstly,this study used literature research method to analyze the status quo of relevant evaluation research at home and abroad.The results showed that there is not only a lack of unified evaluation concept of preschool education in China,but also a lack of specialized evaluation organization of preschool education software.There are too few relevant evaluation studies,and the construction of indicators is imperfect and not specific,which makes it difficult to observe or measure.At the same time,the main body of evaluation is experts,lacking parents’participation,and the evaluation objects are mainly kindergarten education software,ignoring the early childhood education software in family education.As a representative of early childhood education software evaluation abroad,the United States regards the concept of developmentally Appropriate Practice as the value orientation of early childhood education software evaluation,which has been highly recognized at home and abroad.Through the above analysis,this study determined the application of APP evaluation index system in early childhood education,which is guided by the concept of Development Appropriate Practice.Secondly,based on the theoretical framework of TPACK and the current research situation of evaluation at home and abroad,this study constructed an APP evaluation framework for early childhood education,which consists of two parts:the general and individual indicators of APP in early childhood education.Based on the evaluation framework,the author mainly constructed a general evaluation index system which includes three aspects:technical dimension,content dimension and learning dimension.Delphi method is used to screen and improve the evaluation index system.Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to confirm the right.Finally,a complete general evaluation index system of APP for early childhood education is constructed by determining the target grade.Finally,this study transformed the general evaluation index system of APP in early childhood education into a questionnaire.After the reliability and validity analysis by using Cronbach’s alpha and factor analysis method,the comparative analysis of the data results of the case APP-Little Dragons,including the longitudinal comparison with the expert team and the horizontal comparison with other APPs,not only further verified the rationality and validity of the evaluation index system.Moreover,it clarified how the evaluation index system is transformed into an evaluation tool,how to collect data and how to calculate the process.The results proved that the general evaluation index system of APP in early childhood education constructed in this study can provide parents with the criteria to measure the suitability of the selected APP,and can also help APP developers to further modify and improve product design,improve the quality of APP in preschool education,and further meet the needs of preschool education.
