Thai Chinese teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in Chinese as a foreign language.The teaching method used in this paper is the Total Physical Response.Through the analysis of Chinese teaching in the Chinese class of the Thai Church Chinese School,including textbooks,teachers,and pedagogy.Then analyze the students’ Chinese learning,including the students’age,Chinese level,learning characteristics and motivations for learning Chinese.According to the results of the analysis,the teaching content is developed,and the Total Physical Response is used for practical use.This paper lists five teaching cases such as "fruit","body part","animal","family member title" and"paper-cutting".Each teaching case includes class,number of students,class type,class hours,Chinese level,teaching content,teaching objects,teaching objectives,teaching methods analysis and teaching.The steps are divided into new course introduction,knowledge explanation,game link and evaluation of teaching effect.The teaching effect has good aspects and inadequacies for the teacher to reflect and improve after class.The last chapter is based on the analysis of the teaching case design,and draws the adaptability,limitations and teaching suggestions for using the Total Physical Response for classroom teaching.The Total Physical Response is conducive to memory,improving students’learning efficiency,and the classroom can create a good teacher-student relationship and classroom effect,emphasizing listening and speaking,weakening literacy.However,the Total Physical Response is suitable for students in the lower grades,and classroom discipline using the Total Physical Response is difficult to control.So in teaching,the Total Physical Response should be used flexibly,and the teaching activities should be flexibly designed.It is not possible to use a variety of teaching methods for teaching,but also to focus on classroom management.
