| As new curriculum reform is carried out for elementary education in China,new changes are happening to concepts,objectives,content and methods of art courses.However,there are also some deviations and deficiencies.For instance,courses of traditional Chinese courses are not totally taught according to new curriculum standards in middle schools.In this paper,some middle schools of Zhifu District are deemed as samples.Teaching status of traditional Chinese arts is figured out by performing questionnaire surveys on students,visiting teachers,conducting field investigations and carrying out case analysis.Related literature and materials are looked up.The survey results are separately examined and comprehensively analyzed in combination with new curriculum concepts.While recognizing new changes to teaching of traditional Chinese arts,this paper explores existing problems and causes,analyzes factors impacting teaching results and puts forward measures and suggestions for making improvements,in an attempt to solve problems and deficiencies of the teaching based on new curriculum standards for fine arts,in order that traditional Chinese arts can play better roles in teaching of middle schools.This paper has 5 chapters.Chapter 1 illustrates research background,objectives,significance,objects and methods.In Chapter 2,a status quo survey is conducted on teaching of traditional Chinese arts to deeply understand students’ learning dispositions,situation of teachers’ teaching practices,environmental conditions of teaching and status of students’ learning by virtue of questionnaire survey,symposiums,visits and observations.By analyzing survey results,Chapter 3 not only sums up new changes to teaching of traditional Chinese arts in middle schools resulting from new curriculum standards,but also sorts out existing problems,analyzing problems and courses from the perspective of course status,teaching concepts,attitudes towards learning and teachers’ active roles.Chapter 4 discusses countermeasures for teaching traditional Chinese arts in middle schools by combining theories with practices.It proposes that efforts shall be made to study orientations of new curriculum standards,bring teachers’ core roles into play,highlight how to teach students according to their learning mentality and explore new models for excellent classroom teaching,in an attempt to provide references for following new curriculum spirit in teaching traditional Chinese arts.In Chapter 5,designs of teaching plans are optimized based on case analysis about teaching,so as to offer references for teaching reform.This paper investigates status quo and countermeasures of teaching traditional Chinese arts in middle schools,in hope of reviewing problems from new perspectives and taking unprecedented measures for improving teaching of fine arts under the backgrounds of new curriculum standards. |
