A new round of curriculum reform proposes to improve the comprehensiveness of the curriculum clearly.Under this background,the junior high school science with comprehensive discipline has received more and more attention from the society.This study hopes that the design and implementation of the extended experiment in thematic unit teaching can help improve the coherence and integrity of teaching unit content,enable students to connect book knowledge with real life,and help students to improve their interest in science learning and academic performance.By referring to the data,sorted out some of the extended experiments for the textbook published by Zhejiang Education Publishing House of the eighth grade.,hoping to provide some references for teachers in the front line.Following the "theory-design-implementation" research route,firstly,the study carried out the theoretical analysis in the early stage,and then relied on the textbook unit to integrate the scientific concept to determine the theme.And then divided the topic according to the unit content.After the unit teaching,on the basis of expected goals,design the experiment according to the reverse thinking by analyzing the situation of the students.In the aspect of experimental design,the principles of extended experimental design from the subject unit,the direction of experiment expansion,the relationship between extended experiments,and the evaluation of experimental design werediscussed.In the practice of expansive experiment under the theme unit teaching,according to the preliminary survey questionnaire,the basic situation of the students was investigated,and the problems were found and the corresponding hypotheses were put forward.In the subject class,the subject unit's teaching and post-class expansion experiments were carried out,the research hypothesis was verified,and the results were analyzed based on the collected information,and the research conclusions were obtained.In the implementation process,according to the factors that students can influence whether they participate in the experiment voluntarily,carry out regression analysis,clarify the correlation of the influencing factors,and finally determine the modification ideas of the experimental design.The scientific interest of the experimental class has a certain growth in the four aspects of science love,participation,self-confidence and continuous participation by teaching practice.There is a certain decline in the values of science,and the hypothesis is verified to some extent.In terms of scientific achievements,the experimental class compared with the control version,the results are better,especially the high segmentation number is significantly more than the control class,so that the expansion experiment under the thematic unit teaching is conducive to the improvement of students' scientific academic performance.In the process of correcting the extended experiment,it is found that,besides the time dimension can not significantly predict the participation interest,the interest and meaning,the difficulty dimension and the organizational form dimension can significantly predict the participation interest,and the degree of influence is in descending order.Organizational form,fun and meaning,difficulty.
