Schools, classes and teachers are gradually changing the traditional teaching mode and becoming interested in studentst interests with the constant innovation of science and technology in recent decades. Therefore, the choices of the topics of the science curriculum have more connections with the interests to most students, also related to social life.So that we could cultivate students' spirit of actively exploring problems, allowing students to experience the fun and solve problems independently. Then we can ultimately improve students' ability to solve problems proactively.Building a scholarly campus and students writing essays with teachers are the first of the activities of new education experiment, advocating reading combine with education.Under this background we consider introduce scientific reading according to students'interests in class, combined with the scientific inquiry advocated by the subject unit to enhance students' comprehensive scientific literacy. This paper is mainly based on the primary school science curriculum in the compulsory education stage, according to the relevant educational theory, combined with the new curriculum standards of biology, physics, chemistry, new education experiment ideas and the content of the textbook of the PEP education,we made a research of the theoretical basis for the implementation of the subject teaching unit, and based on this,we developed a subject teaching unit.We take the teaching unit with the theme of 'water' as an example, collating the related concepts of the water teaching unit. And finally the teaching mode of the primary school science subject unit teaching is constructed to provide research materials for future researchers.
