The sport education model was formally proposed and created by Professor Siedentop,the famous American gymnast and educator.It is in line with the other six physical education models.It is the main physical education model in the second half of the 20 th century.On the basis of the theory of game education,Siedentop firstly put forward the concept of sport education,and put the sport education into the specific teaching practice,and put forward the "sport education model",which is the thought and the concrete manifestation of the sport education of Siedentop.Since the introduction of the sport education model to the school physical education in China.it has been favored by Chinese theorists and practitioners,while is well used in the practice of physical education in China.This study uses methods like literature,text analysis,logical induction,expert consultation and other methods to summarize the books and papers on the sport education model of Siedentop comprehensively and objectively.Then,it analyzes the thoughts,goals,contents,methods and evaluations of the sport education model.It is put forward the reference and enlightenment of contemporary for physical education in China.This study is divided into nine parts.The first part is "the background and meanings of the topic",which describes the background and significance of the topic.The second part is "the object and method of research",that is the research object and research methods.The third part is "definition of related concepts",including four concepts of model,teaching model,sport education,sport education model.The fourth part "research review" is mainly from the domestic and foreign research aspects of sport education model.The fifth part "the origin and development in China of the sport education model" tells the source,evolution and development of the sport education model.The sixth part is the core content and profound meaning of the sport education model.It sorts out the core content of the sports education model throughlogic analysis,comprehensive induction and other methods.And the six core contents of the sport education model are summarized:(1)the idea of game education and sports education is proposed;(2)puts forward diversified goals of sports education;(3)replaces the "traditional small teaching unit" with "sports season";(4)emphasizes the important value of "competition" in sport education model;(5)attaches importance to students' multi-role sports experience and cooperative learning in sport education model;(6)establishes the "accountability" evaluation mechanism of sports education mode.The seventh part is "the enlightenment of sport education model to the reform and development of physical education in China".The sport education is put into the current domestic physical education environment and there are five aspects are enlightened:(1)sports education helps to improve students' sport culture literacy;(2)implementing “sport season” large unit teaching helps to avoid low-level repetition of teaching;(3)helping through “multi-role experience” Enrich the students' sports experience;(4)use the leverage of “sports competition” to help improve teaching effectiveness;(5)use the “accountability” mechanism to help improve the effectiveness of teaching evaluation feedback;Section 8 “China The analysis of the problems that need to be solved in the implementation of sports education mode in primary school physical education",analyzes the problems that primary and middle school sports need to solve through several aspects of teacher concept,teaching material content,textbook layout and evaluation mechanism.The ninth part is"Conclusions and Suggestions".
