In today's society,the exchanges between countries are increasingly close,and the internationalization of education has become an inevitable trend in the development of education in today's society.As an international course,IB courses have attracted more and more attention from scholars."The 21st century is the century of life science”,but in China,the actual biological teaching and social development needs out of line.From 2018 to 2019,the author served as the substitute biology teacher of class IB in a middle school of Tianjin,participated in the practical teaching of IB teaching mode,and had an in-depth understanding of the biology teaching under the IB middle school project mode.This paper uses literature method,comparison method,questionnaire investigation,interview method,case analysis methods such as comparative analysis,through to the IB school project science group development history and present situation of research,the first creature,for example,try to IB school project mode of biology curriculum implementation process and effect were analyzed,and concluded the advantages and disadvantages of the IB middle school biology teaching under the mode of project,in order to look for the internationalization and localization in China of course between suit a point,to the implementation of the junior high school biology curriculum reform in our country to provide some reference and enlightenment.Through action research method and implementation of the investigation,the author found that the IB MYP-biology course compared with the traditional junior high school biology teaching in our country there are a lot of their own uniqueness,such as:the teaching unit set up close to students' daily life,easy to stimulate students learning motivation;Pay attention to the cultivation of students'operational ability and experimental inquiry ability;Pay attention to the cultivation of students' critical thinking;The teaching method of "teaching through lively activities" and the diversified evaluation system are all worthy of our study.However,there are some problems in other aspects,which are worth thinking about,such as economy,teachers' and students' emotion,teaching effect and so on.Through analysis and research,the author hopes to provide a reference model for the teaching of biology in our traditional junior middle school and some teaching Suggestions for the teaching of physics and chemistry.
