Computer programming language course is the core course of information technology teaching in senior high school.Mastering a simple introductory programming language can help students deeply understand the way of solving computer problems.And improve their ability to solve practical problems.The computer programming language is also the main way and important carrier for cultivating the core literacy of students' computational thinking.STEAM education focuses on the cultivation of students' basic skills and comprehensive abilities.It can not only integrate knowledge,but also enhance students' creative creativity and practical ability.It also has important enlightenment and guiding significance for the reform of basic education teaching and the application of new curriculum standards.The connection between STEAM education concept and the four core literacy in the new curriculum standards is an inevitable trend of China's education reform.This paper studies the integration of the STEAM education concept based on the regular teaching mode.Draws on and summarizes the characteristics and advantages of the STEAM education.And constructs the STEAM education concept applied to the process model of high school programming teaching.Combined with the actual situation of high school programming teaching,the application research is carried out to further cultivate students' computational thinking and its five dimensions:Creativity,Algorithmic thinking,Critical thinking,Problem solving,Cooperativity.Through the literature analysis method,educational experiment method and questionnaire survey method.Students in two classes of senior one are taken as the experimental objects.The teaching mode of the experimental class is integrated into STEAM education concept,and the control class adopts the conventional teaching method for teaching.The experimental results show that under the teaching of STEAM education concept,the basic knowledge of programming language is better.The hands-on ability and program design ability are also greatly improved.And the computational thinking has also changed significantly.Among the five dimensions,there are significant changes in the dimensions of creativity and problem solving.
