In recent years,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)with Xi Jinping as the general secretary has proposed a strategy of strengthening the country through culture.As one of the traditional Chinese musical instruments,Pipa has carried the civilization of Chinese history and gradually became a well-known instrument of the common people.Shanxi,as a province that boasts Pipa development,has witnessed the great contributions made by the predecessors,and nurtured a large number of excellent Pipa teaching professionals and performers.Nowadays,under the influence of policies and history,the number of children that learning Pipa in Shanxi is increasing year by year,and most of them are in primary school.The Pipa learners in the primary school have a relatively fast physical and cognitive development,thus experience the increasing problems during the education,such as classroom inefficiency,the difficulty in reciting music,and the fearful emotions when difficulty occurs,which are impeding their learning journey.Parents who provide less companionship and lack of emotional control,also bring troubles for primary-school Pipa learner.In response to these problems,this paper is divided into three parts,from the perspective of psychology,analyzing the development of physical,cognitive and emotional aspects of the Pipa learner in primary school,clarifying the causes of above-mentioned problems,analyzing the problems of parents' assistance in their Pipa learning,and reflecting on how to learn Pipa performance well from a teacher's perspective.To get a good command of the Pipa performance,it is requested that teachers,parents,and Pipa learners to make joint efforts.By doing so the goal of nurturing and training can be achieved and the true pleasure of learning Pipa can be experienced by the learners.
