Nowadays,the world is in the era of information explosion.The "reading ability" of obtaining information is the basic quality of high-efficient people.The process of silent reading is quiet and less interference with each other,which is conducive to independent thinking,and is the most frequently used way of reading.So,the silent reading becomes one of the most efficient ways of reading.The middle stage of primary school is the sensitive period of students' psychological development and the key period of cultivating students' reading ability.Ignoring the cultivation of students' silent reading ability in this stage will directly affect students' learning ability in primary and junior middle schools,which is not conducive to students' long-term development.This paper will take the middle stage of primary school as the research object,and investigate the current situation of the silent reading activity at this stage,and summarize its existing problems.On this basis,the all-round practical exploration of the middle school silent reading teaching from design to implementation to evaluation,and put forward some suggestions for the implementation of the middle school silent reading teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter combs the research results of scholars at home and abroad,expounds the concept of silent reading,the factors of silent reading ability and the cultivation of silent reading ability,and sorts out the theoretical basis.The basis for silent reading teaching in the middle school mainly includes the purpose,characteristics and main teaching methods.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of silent reading in the middle school through interviews and data analysis,and analyzes the problems and causes from the three aspects of students,teachers and environment.The third chapter,based on the characteristics of middle school students,based on the theory of reading cycle,constructs a theoretical framework of circulation circle suitable for middle school reading teaching,and designs the basic normative process of silent reading teaching.From the aspects of reading article selection,teaching time arrangement,silent reading method guidance,and silent reading ability support,the teacher's silent reading teaching strategy method system is constructed.The fourth chapter puts forward the suggestions for silent reading in the middle school reading teaching,including raising the emphasis on silent reading teaching,clarifying the goal of silent reading in the middle school,scientifically performing silent reading ability training,scientifically conducting silent reading ability evaluation and actively expand the extracurricular reading of students.The fifth chapter summarizes the full text.
