| Reading ability is one of the core competencies of language, and reading teaching is also one of the most difficult points in high school Chinese teaching. In recent years, although the country has paid more and more attention to high school Chinese reading, the reading ability of high school students has not met the ideal requirements, and the improvement of high school students’ reading ability is more theoretical discussion. Therefore,on the basis of graded reading theory, this paper recommends books for students with reference to Chinese textbooks and curriculum standards, and divides the grading of books and the level of reading ability that students need to achieve.By recommending books to students with different reading ability levels and putting forward different reading goals,we will gradually improve students’ reading ability. This thesis is mainly composed of three parts: introduction, main text and conclusion,of which the main body has four chapters. The first part is the introduction part, which puts forward the research object of this paper, analyzes the research status at home and abroad, and clarifies the research content and research methods of this paper.Use questionnaire survey and interview methods to understand students’ needs for graded reading and language teachers’ views on graded reading; The results of the questionnaire survey were analyzed by factor analysis to make the results more comprehensive and reliable; The literature analysis method is used as the support of graded reading theory. In the first chapter, the relevant concepts in this paper are elaborated, and the feasibility of graded reading is demonstrated by analyzing the practical basis of extracurricular graded reading in high school Chinese from three dimensions.Chapter 2 mainly uses the interview method to understand the views of language teachers on graded reading, and the questionnaire survey method, which understands the problems encountered by students in extracurricular reading, reading demands, and the relationship between extracurricular reading and language performance, which provides a realistic basis for the research content of this paper.Chapter 3 is the focus of this article. It mainly explains the standards of graded reading, and the level of reading ability that students need to achieve is divided into levels.Based on students’ reading volume and the learning requirements for students in the Chinese textbooks,52 books were selected from the Reading Guidance Catalogue as students’ extended reading lists, and targeted reading requirements were put forward according to students’ reading level,so as to improve students’ reading ability,so as to gradually reduce students’ dependence on reading guidance until students can read independently.Chapter 4 provides a specific implementation path for teachers to improve students’ reading ability, and takes "Dream of Red Mansions" as an example to make a specific case study. The last part is the concluding part, which is mainly a reflection on the prospects for the future development of graded reading and the shortcomings in the paper. |
