| The concept network of "amount of substance" that this paper discuss here consists of four physical quantities--amount of substance,related molar mass and molar volume of gas and one constant--Avogadro constant.It not only involves the accurate understanding of the common chemical quantities in high school chemistry,but also the direct and indirect connections between the four physical quantities and the concepts learned in junior school—mass,volume of gas,number of particles.It also includes the applications of“amount of substance" in determining the unknown molecular formulas and in the related calculations of chemical equations.Building a complete concept network of“amount of substance" can help the students think about chemical problems at both a macro and a micro level,get chemistry closer to the students’ life,and help with the students’ chemistry study.This paper attempts to provide reference for the future teaching of concept network of"amount of substance" by analyzing the causes of the learning difficulties of the concept network of "amount of substance" and studying the teaching strategies to break through the learning difficulties.This paper consists of four parts.First,the theoretical basis of the study.This paper discusses the connotation and main viewpoints of cognitive learning theory and constructivism theory,and probes into the guiding role of the two theories in concept network teaching.The characteristics of students with learning difficulties are analyzed:lacking interest in learning;forming bad study habits;having not strong self discipline and having inertia.On this basis,the author defines the students with learning difficulties in the concept network of "amount of substance",which provides a theoretical basis for this paper to analyze the causes of learning difficulties in concept network and formulate corresponding teaching strategies.Second,analysis of the causes of learning difficulties in the concept network of"amount of substance".This part includes the composition of the concept network and the implications of the concepts.Through interviews,the author finds that the learning difficulties of the "amount of substance" concept network mainly include three aspects:difficulties in understanding the concept;difficulties in using and transforming formulas and difficulties in solving problems.On this basis,through a questionnaire survey,the author finds that the causes of the difficulty in learning the concept network of "amount of substance" mainly include three aspects:students’ own factors;the difficulties brought by the textbook itself and difficulties caused by human factors.Third,the teaching strategies of breaking through the learning difficulties of the concept network of "amount of substance".Through the analysis of the causes of the learning difficulties of the concept network of "amount of substance",this paper puts forward six teaching strategies:improve teachers’ professional quality,trying hard to analyze the teaching material and learning situation,reasonably integrating knowledge points according to the layout of knowledge points and learning situation,and planing teaching content;enhance students’ interest in learning and make them realize the importance of the concept network system of "amount of substance" and the necessity of learning it;make overall plans for class hours and compile school-based courses;integrate knowledge and analogy teaching;fully develop students’ subjective initiative and embody the main body status.;at last,guide students to construct the concept network system of "amount of substance".Fourth,the conclusions of this study.Through the questionnaire survey and the test of teaching strategy implementation effect,this paper finds that the teaching strategy has a good implementation effect,and has a certain reference value for related teaching.Research thinks that teachers should pay attention to several aspects in the teaching process of the "amount of substance" concept network:to enhance their professional accomplishment;to stimulate students’ interest in learning;to integrate knowledge points and make overall plans for class hours;to guide students to construct the concept network system of "amount of substance" and embody the main position of students. |
