Chemical concept is an important pillar of the whole high school chemistry,but also the cornerstone of learning high school chemistry.As the most important physical quantity in the quantitative study of chemistry,the "amount of substance" is also the basic and abstract teaching content of the core concept of high school chemistry.The core concept related to the "amount of substance" runs through the teaching of the whole stage of high school chemistry.In the context of the new curriculum reform,in order to improve the subject status of students in the teaching process,many novel teaching methods have been presented and entered the classroom one after another.Since it was put forward,Peer-Instruction has been widely concerned in the world and achieved good teaching effects.The key teaching form of Peer-Instruction is to let students focus on core concepts and conduct group discussion and answer questions.The process of mutual teaching among students will promote students' profound understanding and application of concepts,and also fully reflect students' subjectivity in the teaching process.Based on this,the Peer-Instruction is applied to the teaching research of the concept of "amount of substance" in high school chemistry.First of all,the paper adopts literature research method to summarize the research background,research status,research theoretical basis and related concept definition of this topic,and expounds the significance and purpose of the research.Secondly,the questionnaire survey was used to investigate the current state of students' learning of chemical concepts,and the difficulties in students' learning and the problems to be improved in teachers' teaching were summarized.Aiming at these problems,the teaching strategy of high school chemistry concepts based on Peer-Instruction was constructed.Thirdly,the teaching strategy constructed is applied to the teaching of "amount of substance",a compulsory course in high school chemistry,and the application of Peer-Instruction in the concept of "amount of substance" is studied in combination with classroom observation method.Finally,through the correct rate of classroom concept test questions and the questionnaire survey of students' satisfaction with Peer-Instruction,the following conclusions are drawn :(1)Peer-Instruction has a certain promoting effect on high school chemistry concept teaching;(2)Peer-Instruction is beneficial to students' in-depth understanding and memory of chemical concepts;(3)The use of Peer-Instruction can cultivate students' critical thinking in high school chemistry concept teaching.In addition,some suggestions on the implementation of Peer-Instruction in Chinese high school chemistry concept teaching are put forward,hoping to provide reference for subsequent research.
