The concept of "amount of substance" which researched by teachers for a long time has always been the emphasis and difficulty in high school chemistry teaching, since it can not be practiced well in real teaching.For this reason, our study select the concept of "amount of substance" as the research object and look for a new horizon to the teaching of the "amount of substance", so that we can provide some meaningful suggestions for this teaching.After searching related reviews, we do our work as follows:First of all, based on the cognitive investigation about the difficulty of the concept of "amount of substance by teachers and students, we find this mainly displays as follows:the students think it difficult to understand the "amount of substance" and the concept of "Avogadro constant" but easier to understand its derivational concept, while teachers think students can understand naturally by practice, illustrating teachers do not emphasize concept formation processSecondly, after the above-mentioned survey, we select the concept of "amount of substance" as the research object.Then we compare this concept teaching in our books published by People’s Education Press with Canada, we find books published by People’s Education Press is boring and do not appear the concept formation process, while foreign books have many advantages.Thirdly, we summery the evolvement of the evolvement the concept of "amount of substance" and "Avogadro constant" then we make it as the teaching material so as to promote students’concept formation.Finally, based on the above research, we do this research to promote the concept formation process of the amount of substance"...
