Nordic Walking rose in Finland and was praised as the "nearest perfect sport" by American medical journals.Since it was introduced into China by the State Administration of Sports in 2001,it has achieved fruitful development.It has formed a cross-country walking network covering more than 20 cities and more than 100,000 participants.However,as far as China's huge fitness group is concerned,the promotion work is not optimistic.Better cities are concentrated in Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangsu and other economically developed first-tier cities,while the development of Yantai is lagging behind.Based on the research methods of literature,questionnaire,field investigation,expert interview and mathematical statistics,this paper takes Yantai cross-country walking path as the main research object.On the basis of summarizing the basic theory and fitness value of cross-country walking,starting from the current situation of the development of cross-country walking in Yantai,it deeply analyses the existing problems in its promotion process.Based on the natural resources and human characteristics of Yantai City,the dissenination path of off-road walking is formulated,which provides certain theoretical support and decision-making basis for the development and promotion of off-road walking in Yantai City.1.At present,the overall situation of cross-country walking promotion in Yantai is not optimistic.The level of people's cognitive participation is low.The gender proportion of participants is not balanced.Males are significantly higher than females,and the majority of participants are middle-aged and elderly people.The participants,educational level is mainly high school education,and their professional characteristics tend to be workers,teachers and individual operators.2.The participation motivation of the masses focuses on the enrichment of spare time and leisure and entertainment,and the organizational mode is single,relying on spontaneous organizations and associations at all levels;the duration of participants is less than 2 years,and the frequency of exercise is three times a week.3.The existing promotion model of Yantai City,the imperfect management organization,the imperfect policy,the limited content and channel of publicity,the narrow radiation surface,can not meet the needs of current social development,is not conducive to the sustainable development of cross-country walking.4.Yantai has not yet established a special cross-country walking association,lacking specialized promotional personnel and specialized instructors,uneven distribution of resources,unable to meet the needs of the masses,and lack of mass sports activities.5.Cross-country walking has the value and potential of promotion in Yantai City,and the organization of promotion should be government-led;the form of promotion should be integrated with network media,events,training courses,lecture exchanges and television broadcasting.The countermeasures and suggestions are as follows:1.Establishing and improving the policy guarantee system,strengthening the cooperation among departments,promulgating specific policies,regulations and management systems with pertinence,forming a promotional pattern of government-led,coordinated and social participation,timely increasing the investment of tangible and intangible capital,and providing necessary special development funds.2.Make full use of Yantai's natural and human environment advantages,draw lessons from successful experience at home and abroad,organize all kinds of cross-country walking mass sports events at all levels,and promote the implementation of other relevant promotion strategies.3.Strengthen propaganda efforts,formulate medium-term and long-term propaganda plans,ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of propaganda and promotion,expand the channels of propaganda,develop the business promotion model of cross-country walking and establish a media promotion model integrating traditional media,networks,mobile phones,social platforms and so on,introduce social forces,and jointly promote the development of cross-country walking in Yantai City.4.Establish Yantai Cross-Country Walking Association and other specialized organizations as soon as possible,and encourage social capital to enter the field of cross-country walking,forming a new pattern of "two wings in one" cross-country walking promotion with the government as the leading,mass organizations and profit-making organizations.5.Widening our horizons,implementing the "Five Entries" policy,establishing a linkage system of "organs,enterprises,schools,rural areas and communities",and expanding the channels for the promotion of cross-country walking.
