The core problem that can not be ignored in the process of realizing the transformation from a large country of higher education to a powerful country in China is to improve the quality of education in an all-round way,and the quality of college students' development is an important part of the quality of higher education.Improving the development level of college students is an important breakthrough to improve the quality of higher education.How to measure and characterize the development level of college students? Does the development of college students show a certain law? How to use the law research to improve the development of college students? These are important topics worth exploring.In this study,CCSS(China College Student Survey)was used to measure the development of college students,and the development index of college students was used to evaluate the development level of college students.According to the tracing data of 2013 students from freshman to senior year in a certain university,the change track of its development index is fitted by model,and the law of university students' development is probed into.On the basis of this research,the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the development index of college students.The research is divided into four parts: first,the research on the development index system of college students.This part firstly comprehensively combs the history and the present situation of the related research of the college students' development,the influencing factors of the university students' development,the related theory of the index,and defines the structure of the college students' development and the university students' development in this research on the basis of the literature research.The concept and connotation of the development index of college students.Secondly,based on the CCSS questionnaire,the author uses Amos to verify the structure of college students' development,and constructs the index system of university students' development.Secondly,the research on the index representation of college students' development level.Using descriptive statistics,T tests and formulas Differenceanalysis and other methods to analyze the overall development index level of college students,and analysis of different disciplines,gender and grade of college students development index level and their differences;third,based on the exponential change trajectory of university students development law research.Based on the longitudinal tracking data of the undergraduate development index of class 2013 from 2014 to2017,the latent variable linear growth model,the nonlinear quadratic growth curve model and the latent development model without defining the type of curve are constructed by using the Mplus tool.This paper analyzes the changing track of college students' development index and the law of college students' development.Fourth,the influencing factors of college students' development Research On the basis of literature research,this paper determines the student factors,such as student gender,learning input,teachers' factors such as teacher's goal,effective teaching,school economy,social support and so on,which are the influencing factors for the development of college students.This part uses the empirical data,on the basis of determining the nonlinear development model of the university students' development index in the third part,adds the covariables of students,teachers,curriculum and schools in the model,and probes into the students.The actual influence of teachers and curriculum and school factors on the development index of college students.The main contents are as follows:(1)the confirmatory factor analysis verifies the second order four-dimensional structure of college students' development.On this basis,a three-level system of university students' development index is put forward,that is,the first class index of college students' development index is developed by academic development index.Social development index,knowledge development index,ability development index,value development index and interpersonal relationship development index.(2)the development index of college students is generally at the middle and upper level(0.637),and there are differences in the level of development index among individual students and among the elements;There were significant differences among different groups(gender,subject and grade)in the level of student development index.(3)the changes of the first-order development index and the second-third-level development index of college students show a non-linear trend of growth,and there are differences in the trajectory and speed of the index changes among the students.(4)gender and subject factors had no significant influence on the development index of college students.Students,teachers and curriculum as well as school factors have significant positive and positive effects on the development index of the four grades of college students,but the three factors have different effects on the development of students.(5)according to the research contents and conclusions of the structure system,level,track and influencing factors of college students' development index,the author puts forward that we should know the law of the development of students' index and carry out teaching according to the law.To promote students' learning investment,teachers' effective teaching,and create supportive campus environment and other countermeasures and suggestions.
