Under the background of the National Education Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for the promotion of“world-class universities and first-rate disciplines”,the colleges and universities are in support of domestic dominant disciplines join the ranks of the forefront of similar universities in the world driven by the construction of disciplines.Then the nature of the discipline,the status quo of the discipline research,and how to combine the existing advanced information technology to make the disciplinne research more efficient and other issues will await discussion and research in the academic community.the traditional form of literature-only discipline research review is difficult to demonstrate similarities between disciplines and the inheritance of discipline development,and so on.It is difficult for researchers to objectively and efficiently acquire and understand the static structure and dynamic evolution trends of disciplines.With the development of text mining and knowledge visualization technology,mapping knowledge domain has become the new darling of scientific metrology.It takes the advantages of the efficiency of the human visual dimension to obtain information to reveal the development various characteristics of disciplines three-dimensionally.Related research methods and aproaches are one-sided and only based on the software function examines the local characteristics of the discipline,the scope of applied research is too narrow,the emphasis is on a software operation,and lacks theoretical system analysis and empirical research.For this reason,the author systematically sorts out the research results of disciplines at home and abroad,explores the connotation of the discipline and its research framework,and takes the literature as the entry point.it is based on the dual properties of the discipline practice and cognition:the author examine the visualization of the four branches of the discipline supply chain(periodicals,funds,institutions and authors)and discipline knowledge system(topic structure,research focus,research frontier,discipline evolution,disipline penetration).Combining mapping knowledge domain technology,the author propose the mechanism of discipline knowledge map construction that the co-word visualization shows the static structure,the co-citing visualization reveals the inheritance development,and the network visualization presents the micro-relationship conclusion.And then Based on bibliographic information,a scheme for constructing mapping knowledge domain for discipline based on multi-method fusion is proposed,which vertical cross-convergence knowledge unit relations and knowledge unit processing methods,multiple presentation methods of horizontal fusion and single relationship of data sources.It seeks to comprehensively and accurately reveal the status of discipline development through a comprehensive analysis of methods and tools used in existing research institutes.Finally,taking the management science and engineering discipline as an example to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme and draw preliminary conclusions.
