With the rapid development of the economy,the people's material living standard has been greatly improved,and the pension and medical health have also been greatly improved.However,the age structure of Chinese population has also undergone a relatively large change.As a global problem,population aging has aroused widespread concern and attention in many countries.As the most populous country in the world,the absolute number of the elderly is the largest in the world.After the founding of new China,the average life expectancy of China's population has increased rapidly as the death rate of the population continues to decline.By 2001,China has entered an aging society.In recent years,our country has paid more and more attention to the psychological and life guarantee of the empty nest elderly.Facing the huge group of empty nest,they often fail to meet their emotional needs for a long time due to physical and age reasons,and then appear lonely or depressed.Therefore,the spiritual care for this group is particularly important.Actively solving the problem of mental loneliness in the empty nest elderly can effectively promote the coordinated development of the society.This article will use the case study method to go deep into the empty nest in the city.Through interviews,we will find out the reasons for the mental loneliness and the emotional needs of the cases.Through field investigation and empirical analysis,we find out the way to solve the problem of spiritual loneliness in the empty nest old man.Using social work method,we put forward targeted solutions for individual cases,and actively solve the effective ways and ways of urban empty nest to get out of the spiritual loneliness dilemma,so that the urban empty nest elderly can get more fulfilling life in their later years.
