| It’s always an important task for a school to improve students’ thinking ablitity.However,thinking is so abstract and complex that makes thinking teaching as an unsolvable problem for many schools in China.Based on the above problem,the author started the curriculum development of ’Amazing Code’,which was a breakthrough on curriculum development of thinking teaching in primary school.Considering about the real suitation in N school,including the students’ poor thinking ablility and the lack of thinking teaching resource,the author put out an idea which was called ’teaching code to train thinking skills’ and designed the school-base course ’Amazing Code’.This study took a close look into the development process of’Amazing Code’ by using the methods including text analysis method,observation method and interview method.The author analyzed the background and the theories of this curriculum development,and combed the course aims,course contents,teaching methods and course evaluation methods.Meaningwhile in the process of development,there are always some problems.The study described the phenomenons,figured out the reasons through the analysis,and gave some suggestions on how to mend these problems like ’making some rules of the class’,’transforming the teaching form’ and ’increasing another part of learning’etc.After that,the author observed and analyzed the effects on the improvement actions.In the last chapter,the author summarized the development of ’Amazing Code’from the strongpoints,the weakness parts and improving tactics.The author regarded it as a new mode of curriculum development on thinking,and it did help to raise the students’ consciousness of using thinking skills.What’s more,it actually improved the teacher’s ability of curriculum development.However,the lacks of curriculum source,teaching training and scientific evaluation methods were still on the table.In order to improve the suitation,the author put forward some suggestions to those problems:1.Raising awareness of the curiculum development on thinking;2.recruiting experts to reinforce the course;3.taking use of the social resources to create new course modes.In the end,the author looked into the future of the research of thinking curiculum and hoped this study may get more educators attention on thinking teaching,so that the aim ’thinking cultivation’ can be actually fulfilled. |
