The primary period is the critical period of the transition of imaginal thinking to abstract thinking. The imaginal thinking of pupil is the premise of comprehensive development of abstract thinking and intellect. The technology of Web + Flash provides us with a new learning mode of imaginal thinking. The technology of Web + Flash not only makes the teaching content of imaginal thinking more vivid and enrich, but also expands the scope of the study group.This thesis studies the current situation and the existing problems at home and abroad , and puts forwards the ideas of the design and development on the Web-based imaginal thinking curriculum for the primary pupils. Then it rationalizes the related theories of thinking, imaginal thinking, pupils'imaginal thinking, etc, and analyzes the guidance of Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory, Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Rodger's Humanistic Theory to the cultivation of imaginal thinking.Through the analysis of curriculum content and structure of imaginal thinking, the designing principles of Web-based curriculum are determined, and then it is composed that the text script and the production script of Web course on the imaginal thinking. The key technology of production are discussed from the aspects of framework, navigation, and interface .Two methods are employed to verify the teaching effect of primary imaginal thinking based on the Web. One of them is designing the teaching case and analyzing the teaching effect from the principle of instructional design and teaching model.As for the other one, the teaching experiment is operated in the Experimental Primary School of Shanxi Normal University. Two classes have been selected as experimental group and control groups ,which has the equal ability, the same number, the same gender ratio. After a term's teaching with online course and paper textbook of the imagnial thinking respectively, the data of Pretest and Posttest is collected and analyzed, and the teaching effect is evaluated. In general, the online course of imaginal thinking is better for improving pupils'imaginal thinking ability.
