The course objectives and course content in the Compulsory Education Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)and the Junior Middle School Science Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)all make “scientific inquiry” an important requirement,and at the same time,scientific inquiry is the path to develop students' scientific literacy.In teaching practice,inquiry-based teaching has become the “darling” of teachers and students.For the students in the junior high school stage,they are young and have a certain curiosity and interest about new things.The researchers call this curiosity as the students' interest in inquiry,the level of interest in student science(chemistry)inquiry affects or determines the effectiveness of student scientific inquiry.This paper aims to measure the level of students' chemistry exploration interest through design scales,mainly using literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method.According to the relevant theoretical structure,as well as interviews with new and old teachers and students,a preliminary draft of the junior high school students' chemical inquiry interest questionnaire was prepared.Through the data collected by the pre-test,the data of each item of the scale is analyzed,and the individual items are screened or eliminated according to the results of the project analysis,and finally the exploratory factor analysis is carried out to form a formal questionnaire.The formal test scale is used to measure students' chemistry exploration interests through data analysis and data mining.The study found that there is a significant difference in the interest of chemistry in junior high school students between different schools;students in the study divisional chemistry course have significant differences between boys and girls in the “ problem of asking questions” dimension,and boys are generally higher than girls;students studying comprehensive courses are in the “Explain the interest of communication” There are significant differences between boys and girls,and girls are generally higher than boys.According to the results of data analysis,aiming at the differences in chemistry exploration interests of junior high school students,boys and girls,and different schools,three teaching suggestions in the implementation of junior high school science(chemistry)courses areproposed: Maintaining their interest in inquiry as soon as students are exposed to chemistry;Targetedly stimulate the interest of students of different genders;Based on the actual situation of the school,formulate strategies to stimulate students' interest in inquiry.
