A Study On The Problems Of The Partism Class And The Solutions Among Universities In Jiangxi Province

Since the new century,the construction of party schools in China’s colleges and universities has achieved considerable development under the guidance of the Party Central Committee.Especially since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it has been emphasized by General Secretary Xi Jinping many times that we should carry out ideological and political work throughout the whole process of education teaching,realize whole-process education and all-round education,strengthen ideological guidance,and firmly grasp the leadership of ideological work in colleges and universities at the 23 rd National Party School Construction Work Conference in 2014,the 2015 National Party School Work Conference,and the 2016 National College Ideological and Political Work Conference.So,as an important part of the party political and ideological work in colleges and universities,the party education is particularly important for exploring the status quo of education and the measures to improve it under the new situation,and truly develops the educational role of college party activists,Probationary members and party members,as well as ordinary college students in party education,the field,ideological politics,and so on.This paper is about the situation of college students’ party education.With college students from 10 universities and 15 party schools of universities in Jiangxi Province surveyed,we interviewed 36 full-time party workers in relevant universities,collected15 interview results,and distributed 1,898 student questionnaires,this paper finds the problems in the current party education,including the teaching content,methods,effects and organization.The research methods employed include literature research method,linking theory with practice,and survey analysis method.The problems include the lack of systematic special subject setting of party lesson,the lack of updated teaching content,the lack of education to students after becoming a party member,the poor teaching effect,the inadequate teachers and the week institutional support.The fundamental causes of the problems found by thorough analysis are that less attention to party education from universities,the lack of stimulus and evaluation system,inadequate research in the reform of party education.Taking the status quo of party education in some colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province as an example,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of thecurrent college students’ party education through the empirical investigation,and proposes new methods,new contents and new mechanism of the party education in the new normal situation to provide high-quality and distinctive party class education for college students party activists,probationary party members,and party members.It is of great practical significance to provide relevant empirical research data,current situation analysis and countermeasures.
