Case Study On Maintenance Outsourcing Of Multimedia Teaching Equipment In H University

With the development of service outsourcing in the field of education,more and more colleges and universities began to use the overall outsourcing mode to solve the problems existing in management and maintenance multimedia teaching equipment.In order to improve the equipment management level,smooth the teaching work,the teaching equipment management department of H University decided to introducing professional equipment maintenance company and using the overall outsourcing mode in multimedia teaching equipment maintenance.But the overall outsourcing is only a kind of management mode or countermeasure,can it work with the problems of H University now facing,whether achieve the desired goal or not are open questions,which need to be tested by practice.And they also need systematic research and scientific planning.On the basis of the theory of equipment management and service outsourcing,this paper has studied the multimedia teaching equipment management status and problems of H University,expounded the necessity and advantages of the overall outsourcing by using theory and practice combination,literature search,comparative analysis and other methods.On the basis of previous studies,this paper puts forward some concrete countermeasures for the implementation of the overall outsourcing,considering the equipment maintenance outsourcing environment and stage of H university,and several key problems has been studied.The main conclusions of this paper include the following points:(1)the overall outsourcing is a feasible measure to solve the multimedia equipment maintenance problems of H University.(2)The characteristics and organizational structure of equipment management are analyzed;the problems of equipment management are pointed out.(3)The scope of overall outsourcing of multimedia teaching equipment is divided,the qualifications and methods of selecting supplier are proposed,the incentive and control measures to the contractor in the contract management are designed,and the main risks of the overall outsourcing are analyzed.(4)The service level agreement(SLA)is introduced into the multimedia equipment management and maintenance,and quantitative measures of the quality of service are proposed.(5)And the application of M/M/n Queue system and Erlang-C formula are studied in calculating the number of service engineers.
