Human beings have the nature to explore the source and cause of things,which is called attribution in psychology.This kind of psychological behavior is one of the most important cognitive activities.People's cognitive activities directly affect verbal expression,language is an important way of verbal expression.In modern Chinese,pictographic characters are the largest group of Chinese characters.To master them,it is necessary to find out the rules and characteristics of character making.Among them,the characteristics of pictographic symbols are in line with people's psychological characteristics of tracing their roots.Mongolian junior high school students fail to make full use of the characteristics of pictographic characters in Chinese teaching,and seldom conduct teaching by analyzing the close relationship between shape,symbol and intention.It is necessary for us to systematically and comprehensively study the types and characteristics of the relationship between ideograph and ideograph,and apply this theory to the teaching practice of pictographic characters to help students improve their ability to learn pictographic characters.In modern Chinese,the characteristics of pictographic characters can be summarized into the following nine categories: phonetic symbols are consistent with pictographic characters;Phonograph character formation;The structure of the phonetic symbol is unified.The shape symbol has the intuitionistic iconicity;Different ability of form,symbol and construction;Symbol table class intention;Phonetic characters of loanwords;Alphanumericcharacters;A phonetic variant of a word.Among them,the shape descriptor table class choice,there are four major categories,respectively is: the shape character and word meaning are approximately equal relationship,form character and word meaning is directly related to the subject factor,table object(shape descriptor table,table as a whole,specific factors,table table tools or materials,table space,table causal factors or conditions),shape character and word meaning have indirect contact,form character and word meaning no contact.On the basis of absorbing the previous research results,this paper describes the characteristics of these four categories of ideographs and divides them into one,two and three categories according to the close connection between them.There are different types of shape symbol,and the degree of its meaning is also different.This is the unique theoretical achievement of this paper.It is necessary for the ontological study and teaching of pictographic characters to systematically summarize the types of pictographic symbols in modern Chinese and to analyze the motivation for the formation of pictographic characters.Applying the research results of pictographic characters to the teaching practice of second language is the research value of the theory itself.It is very important for the students' speech training and thinking training to reveal various types of ideographic symbols and help them improve the level of using pictographic characters.The theoretical part of this paper has perfected the content of analyzing the meaning of Chinese characters from the perspective of shape symbols.The method and example of applying the rules and characteristics of pictographic characters themselves to the teaching of pictographic characters expand the thinking of the analysis of pictographic characters and provide a model for the teaching of Mongolian junior middle school students.It is of practical value to develop the teaching of phonographic characters by directlytranslating the theoretical achievements into the research ideas and theoretical achievements of the content of second language teaching.
