In the new curriculum reform,the contents of the core literacy of geography discipline are elaborated,among which regional cognition is listed as one of the four major contents of the core literacy of geography discipline,further highlighting the importance of regional cognition.In order to truly implement the reform of geography curriculum standards in practice,it is necessary to further strengthen the good implementation of the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy,so as to realize the requirements of the new curriculum standards to cultivate morality and cultivate talents.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation,case analysis,expert consultation and other methods are used to carry out relevant research focusing on the cultivation of students' regional cognition.First,this paper finds out the current research background and current research situation by searching a large number of relevant literature and works,and determines the research content,research significance,research methods and technical route of this paper.Secondly,it elaborates on regional cognition and the theoretical basis of this study.Third,through questionnaire survey,classroom observation and caseanalysis,the current situation of high school students' regional cognitive training and the specific actual situation in the classroom teaching process are understood.Fourth,according to the actual problems existing in the current situation,the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward to solve the existing problems in the process of regional cognitive training.Fifth,on the basis of the teaching strategy proposed in this paper for the cultivation of students' regional cognition,the teaching case design is carried out with the six sections of the second chapter of "Geography III" in Hunan Education Edition as an example,and three of the teaching cases are implemented.The conclusion of this study is as follows: Firstly,the teaching design strategy of cultivating students' regional cognitive literacy is put forward.The specific strategies are mainly carried out from the following four angles: establishing the teaching goal of infiltrating regional cognitive cultivation;Selecting teaching contents suitable for cultivating students' regional cognition;Designing teaching methods suitable for cultivating students' regional cognition;Enrich classroom evaluation and improve regional cognitive evaluation system.Secondly,based on the teaching case design strategy proposed by the current situation of high school students' regional cognitive training,six teaching case designs are developed and designed with the second chapter of "Geography III" in Hunan Education Edition as the main body,and three of them areimplemented and reflected.
