The curriculum reform of the ordinary high school requires the concentration on students’ learning process and the creation of a real task-oriented situation related to their lives so as to facilitate students learning independently,cooperatively and inquiringly.This reform lays emphasis on the evaluation of students’ learning process and how to improve the practice level the courses.“Task-based guided learning” is a model of classroom teaching which takes the learning plan with progressive tasks as the carrier to emphasize the construction of students’ independent meaning and highlight their subject status and the teacher’s leading role,which meets the need of the new curriculum reform’s focusing on the development of core literacy in discipline and acclimates the development trend of the reform at once.This paper applies the task-based learning guide to the new compulsory chemistry teaching for Elemental Compounds I in senior high school,which aims to explore its influence on students’ learning effect.Therefore,the main content of this study includes the following aspects:(1)Analyzing related theoretical researches in details to lay a theoretical foundation for practical research.(2)Selecting experimental object through control variable method and designing tasks,guiding learn and instructions according to students’ actual situation,curriculum standard and teaching contents.(3)Carrying out teaching practice for the experimental class by using the task-based learning guide;(4)Analyzing the influence of this model on students’ learning effect by means of students’ performance test,teachers’ evaluation,questionnaire survey analysis and the statistics about the completion in practical application.The research result shows that the application of the task-based learning guide in chemistry compulsory teaching of Elemental Compound I can promote students’ self-construction for knowledge and improve students’ learning interest,their abilities of learning independently,cooperatively and inquiringly and their academic records.At the same time,it also has certain effects on improving the classroom atmosphere,students’ habit and their expression ability.Thus it can be seen that the model is effective in chemistry compulsory teaching of Elemental Compound I in senior high school. |
