At present,the cultivation of students' core literacy has become an important topic of teaching,and the cultivation of core literacy of chemistry is extremely urgent.The knowledge of elemental compounds plays an important role in the understanding of students' disciplines and the formation of core literacy.However,there are scattered,complicated,and difficult to remember,which not only brings difficulties to teaching,but also brings a large burden to students' learning,and the teaching effect is not ideal.The model method is integrated into the teaching of elemental compound knowledge,and experimental exploration and problem-driven strategies are used to consolidate and construct the teaching model and framework,and establish a 4+4 teaching model for teaching practice.Through investigation and literature research,under the guidance of the model model of elemental compound knowledge based on model cognition,the teaching design and implementation were carried out with the example of “application of iron and its compounds” and “ethanol”.Two parallel classes were selected for empirical comparison studies,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Teaching model based on model cognition has a great effect on stimulating students' interest in learning.Let students experience a cognitive model of chemistry everywhere.(2)The teaching of elemental compound knowledge based on model cognition can promote students' knowledge construction.Through a variety of activities,students can understand the nature of knowledge and master the learning methods.(3)Teaching practice based on model cognition can improve students' ability to solve chemistry problems.By establishing a learning model,students can be able to solve the chemistry problem quickly and accurately when they encounter similar problems.(4)The teaching of elemental compound knowledge based on model cognition promotes the promotion of the core literacy of chemical disciplines.Through the problem-driven and experimental inquiry teaching strategies,through a series of activities such as conjecture,prediction,hypothesis,experiment,and demonstration,the students' core literacy of chemistry is cultivated.
