Children have been labelled with men and women since their birth,and they have continued to socialize their gender roles under the influence of families,kindergartens and society.children often ask“Why am I a boy?”,“How did I come?”,showing that children are curious about gender from the beginning of their own gender.Preschool is an important stage in the development of children's gender roles.The establishment and development of gender roles is an important part of children's socialization and personality development.Therefore,the introduction of a gender perspective in the preschool education period,gender education based on the child perspective and the development of children's gender roles in kindergartens is conducive to children's grasp of scientific gender concepts and behaviors,which will have a positive impact on the socialization of children's gender roles.From the perspective of children,this study selected 63 children from two classes in Guiyang A Kindergarten as the research object,and used the literature method,observation method,interview method and works analysis method to investigate the development of the gender role of the kindergarten children.Firstly,the literature method is used to search and analyze related documents by searching for keywords such as “gender role” and “children's gender role development”.Secondly,by analyzing the gender phenomenon in the day activities of large class children,combined with the analysis and interviews of children's painting groups.The development of gender roles in young children includes research on the understanding of gender concepts,the development of gender roles and gender behavior patterns,understanding the development of gender roles in large-scale children,analyzing their influencing factors and proposing targeted educational recommendations.The conclusion of this study is that the large class children have mastered certain gender concepts and can correctly recognize the gender of themselves and others.The differences between men and women in the eyes of young children are mainly reflected in the external characteristics of hair,clothing,accessories,etc.Influenced by changes in external characteristics;children can combine personality traits and career choices with gender in terms of gender roles;children's gender-based behaviors are mainly reflected in children's choice of game playmates and game types,while in the game.There has been gender segregation.Summarizing the characteristics of the development of children's gender roles,the researchers have found that the factors affecting the development of children's gender roles are family,school education and mass media.Finally,the researchers put forward some reasonable suggestions on the gender education of children in terms of the choice of educational content and the concept of educators,in order to enrich the relevant theories of the development of gender roles in children.
