The Intervention Study Of Case Work On The Pressure Of Relatives Caregivers Of Disabled Elderly People

With the increasingly severe situation of population aging and the increasing number of disabled elderly people,more and more kinship caregivers in China have to assume the responsibility of long-term care for disabled elderly people As the family structure updating,the traditional model of raising the old-ages in family relatively weakens and the pressure caregivers of disabled elderly relatives face gradually turns severe.Currently,more concentration from the academic area is on the disabled elderly themselves,which means a lack of widespread focus concerning the caregivers of those disabled elderly.Therefore,how to help the caregivers behind the disabled elderly to reduce their stress status requires the caregivers' own social support system to give them social support,which is also what we social workers need to pay attention to.Social work,as both a major and a position with the assistance function,holds the responsibility and obligation to actively use its professional methods and techniques to help the caregivers of disabled elderly people,which can contribute to reduce the pressure of them and set up a social support system.Based on the example of the pressure issues of the disabled elderly relative caregivers,the paper uses the psychosocial treatment model,the social support network theory and the empowerment theory as the basis for the case work.Among them,the case service activities were carried out in ten phases in four phases by using the method of documentary case study,unstructured interview and action research.The main objective is to reduce the pressure of the relative caregivers First of all,the paper uses the pressure measurement table to measure that the case which is currently under moderate stress.After the interview,there is a deep understanding that the pressure of them mainly comes from psychological,economic,social and caring for the elderly.The cognitive bias and social support system disorder were diagnosed Thus,according to the psychosocial treatment model,the author uses the social support network theory and the empowerment theory as the basis to help the client relieve the pressure from the family,relatives and peers,and on this basis,enhance the client's own ability and self-identity,which can build a new social support system for the client.Therefore,the evaluation results show that the case work has a certain mitigation effect on the pressure of the caregiver of the disabled elderly relatives.In the end,the author concluded the case on the basis of the completion of the intervention goal,and in order to maintain the continuity of the intervention effect of the case in the later stage,the author conducted two follow-up services to the case,so as to consolidate the change of the caseThis study is an exploratory study on the pressure of the care of the relatives of the disabled elderly in the case work.Although the conclusions reached do not have many features in common,still,it is hoped that this research will not only help to greatly alleviate the pressure of the client,but also have certain reference value for social practice and theoretical exploration under such similar circumstances.
