Case Work Intervention Study On Depression Relief Of Family Caregivers Of Disabled Elderly People

China is in an era of population aging.With the continuous improvement of medical level,the average life expectancy of human beings is also increasing.However,the physique of the elderly will gradually become weak with the increase of age,which will lead to a series of diseases and lead to the loss of self-care ability of the elderly.At present,China ’s care model is mainly family care,and the caregivers of disabled elderly are mostly family members.In the process of nursing the disabled elderly,due to the long and boring daily nursing work,the negative emotions of family caregivers continue to accumulate and cannot be effectively vented.For a long time,there will be sadness,insomnia and other symptoms,which have a serious impact on the daily life of family caregivers.Therefore,the problem of depression in caregivers of disabled elderly people needs to be paid attention to,and it is also a major topic worthy of discussion by scholars in the academic field.In this paper,the case work is used as the intervention method,and the narrative therapy method is used to serve the caregivers of the disabled elderly with certain depression.In the process of this service,first of all,social workers understand the basic situation of the service object by listening to the life story of the service object,and arrange the problem stories they tell,clarify the story context,and help the service object clarify the essence of the problem.Secondly,guide the service object to externalize its problems and separate the problems from individuals.By looking for exceptions in the service object’s life,we can help them find life outside the problem,enhance their sense of self-identity,assist the service object to continue to find their own changes,and look at their life and people around them with a positive perspective.Finally,the skills of outside witnesses are used to help clients consolidate the effectiveness of depression relief.Through the analysis of the case of this intervention,it can be seen that the narrative treatment model is effective in intervening in the depression of family caregivers of disabled elderly,which is a new exploration in the intervention level of depression of family caregivers of disabled elderly.Narrative...
