Unit instructional design is the key advocated in the "Standards for Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum(2017 Edition)" It not only breaks the shackles of "time-time",pays more attention to the integrity of knowledge,but also clarifies the teaching of the whole unit from the development of knowledge,which can help to cultivate students' core literacy of mathematics.As a key and difficult point in the high school mathematics curriculum,the "logarithmic" unit is a good carrier for unit teaching design research.UbD is the theoretical and framework support of the entire design.Therefore,UbD-based unit teaching design is extremely necessary.This study focuses on the following four issues:(1)What is the process of designing and implementing logarithmic unit teaching using UbD?(2)What is the modified and improved logarithmic unit teaching?(3)How to explain that UbD-based teaching has an effect on understanding the logarithmic unit?(4)What kind of unit teaching mode was finally formed to cultivate students' core literacy of mathematics?The main research method is to conduct an empirical study in an ordinary high school in Hangzhou.The research steps are as follows: Firstly,through the literature review,conduct preliminary unit instructional design combined with UbD theory after the elemental analysis of the unit for "logarithmic" content.Then modify the design plan under the discussion of experts and front-line teachers.After that,teach the lesson in Class A and conduct discussion and improvement according to the teaching effects and problems after teaching.Finally,the improved design is re-trained in Class B,and the students in Class A and Class B are post-tested in each class of the unit.Based on the above research,the following four conclusions are drawn:(1)The process of designing and implementing UbD mainly includes: determining plans,analyzing elements,developing strategies,planning plans,performing teaching,discussing revisions,analyzing data,and building patterns.(2)The modified and improved “logarithmic unit” is the process of knowledge generation,allowing students to experience the process of logarithm generation and recognizing the purpose and function of learning logarithmic units.(3)By combining the characteristics of mathematics and using the three levels of UbD: knowledge mastery,thorough understanding and comprehensive application,I evaluate the unit teaching that has achieved good results.(4)Put forward the "SQIP unit teaching element mode" with "big situation,big problem,big idea,big pattern" as the main line to cultivate students' core literacy of mathematics.
