| Unit integral teaching originated in the late nineteenth century in Europe and America. The late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century, Europe and the rise of a new education campaign, its leading character Dirk Lok Lee put forward the principle of teaching "the whole" and "interest centers".The design of unit integral teaching has been in development since it is born.Under the background of new curriculum reform, the integral design of unit teaching needs to return to the nature of the overall development of human beings, guided by the systematic perspective, in order to adapt to the new conditions of English teaching. Current "Oxford English" teaching is based on "Topic- Functions- Structure- Task" system written in each unit about a topic to expand language training. Textbooks are relatively fixed, teaching situation is constantly changing.while implementing the unit integral instruction design, it is necessary for the teachers to take into consideration the integration of teaching aims, integration of teaching contents, integration of language knowledge, integration of tasks in class teaching and integration of the developments of instabilities. Therefore, teacher’s brilliant teaching abilities in analyzing the teaching materials would then become a must. In a word, unit integral instruction design would benefit both parties in the activities of teaching and studying.This dissertation consists of four chapters. The first chapter puts forward the researching background and profound significance of unit integral instruction design and compares the relative concept with unit integral instruction design. The second chapter analyzes the nowadays researching situation and analyzes the theoretical peculiarity through research on unit integral instruction design. The third chapter discusses the mode, including the implementation steps, basic principles, implementation strategies and the research revelation. In this chapter, The forth chapter provides the research emphasis and direction for unit integral instruction design and puts forwards the author’s expectation that it may exert some influence to English teaching in the future.In this paper, through literature research, observation, interviews, case analysis and so on,I discussed around the investigation of primary school English teaching design unit as a whole and how teaching primary school English unit overall design of these two issues, trying to articulate the overall instructional design unit content, nature, characteristics and significance of the implementation of the overall implementation of the design will be explained, summarizes the overall teaching primary school English unit design advantages and limitations, hoping to provide some reference to classroom teaching English in primary schools. |
