Research On The Development And Ideological Guidance Of College Student Organizations

College Student Unions and Associations,the main body of student organizations in colleges and universities,are an important component of the modern university administrative system,an crucial platform to givefull play to the principal role of college students and one of the carriers of moral education in colleges and universities.In addition to the common characteristics of universality,autonomy,voluntariness,peer counseling and so on,college student organizations exist differences among initiative and stability.In terms of organizationsal behavior,student organizations can be analyzed from both individual and organizationsal levels.In terms of organizationsal sociology,student organizations must meet the expectation and requirement of system environment.On the basis of theories mentioned above,this paper reveals the relationships between the development and ideological guidance of Chinese college student organizations: ideological guidance is on dominant position in the development of student organizations,as well as the guidance of the Party and the League in the college serves as a guarantee for the healthy development of student organizations.A deep understanding of the characteristics of student organizations and grasping their regulations of development and changes laws are the foundation of the correct implementation of ideological and political education.On the basis of investigation,it is worth to affirm that college student organizations play important roles in terms of self-management,self-service and becoming a talent.However,it can also be seen clearly that student organizations have problems of deviating from mainstream values in terms of thoughts and conducts and deviating from society's expectations for their roles,which,in particular,is manifested in the following two aspects.At the ideological level,problems include fuzzy beliefs,pluralism,bureaucracy,formalism,negativity,neglect of organizationsal culture and so on.At the behavioral level,problems include poor quality of activities and poor academic performance.Problems in student organizations are not only the immature values of student cadres,but also the reasons for the vulnerability to adverse social trends of thoughts,the traditional “Officialdom Standard”,and the youth subculture,and also by the school's ignorance and absence of the ideological guidance of student organizations.Focusing on the fundamental tasks of Cultivating morality in education and implementing correct ideological guidance is not only to solve the problems of student organizations' own development,but also to accomplish the important missionof training and cultivating socialist builders and successors who are professionally proficient and politically reliable.Therefore,summing up and refining the experience of the Communist Party of China in guiding the healthy development of student organizations,and constantly innovating in the historical orientation of the new era are the the requirements to adapt to the educational guidance of student organizations in the new era.Starting from strengthening the construction of the main team,optimizing the content,diversified forms and institutional guarantee of the ideological guidance of student organizations,this paper constructs an effective mechanism to promote the healthy development of student organizations and play a carrier role.This paper contains 3 diagrams,17 tables and 166 references.
