An Empirical Study On Effects Of The Non-Profit Organizations To Volunteering Of College Students

Under the background of global revolution, the Non-profit Organizations, as the third department, gradually spring up with the deep development and play a significant role in all fields. However, many problems are gradually exposed with the growing and development of NPOs, such as the lack of charity and public welfare. One of the most important reason is lack of human resources, so it is necessary to pay close attention to college student volunteers, advocate social intermediate powers-college students to play their youthful side, mobilize the public enthusiasm of the college students, guide them to focus on the social public interest and participate in public welfare. As a group of higher cultural quality and professor skills, the college students have enough time and energy to take part in social voluntary activities and make positive contribution to the development of voluntary service. Therefore, the topic of how the NPOs influence the voluntary activities and what the NPOs can do to attract students volunteers will become the core of public welfare in the future.The author put forward five research hypotheses through reading amounts of literature and took non-probability sampling method to380college students. SPSS was used for statistical analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and validity analysis. The study findings:a positive correlation between the social reputation, capability of raising funds, the project content,the concept of activities of the NPOs and the enthusiasm of college students to participate in voluntary activities. But there is no correlation between the independence of NPOs and the enthusiasm of the students. Based on the research findings, the author conducted a more in-depth interview with20college students, found out the problems of government, NPOs and college students, and then put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
