Analysis On Techniques And Strategies Of Japanese Elite Athletes In Table Tennis Mixed Double

With the encouragement and support of the IOC,the Executive Committee of the IOC held a meeting of the Executive Committee at its headquarters in Lausanne,Switzerland,on June 10,2017,Beijing time,to formally determine the events of the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.According to the "Olympic Agenda 2020",a total of nine mixed doubles competitions have been added,including table tennis.This will be the first mixed doubles gold medal in the history of table tennis Olympic Games,which is of great significance.There are many contingencies and uncertainties in mixed doubles competition.Compared with group and singles events,it is easier to compete for medals.This makes other Asian countries and European powers more actively participate in the competition for medals.Especially the outstanding athletes represented by Japan,with right and left hands as a combination,have been active in the international mixed doubles competition in recent years.China's table tennis team should also pay attention to mixed doubles,carefully analyze the competition system,formulate a clear response plan according to the characteristics of foreign elite players' doubles skills and tactics,train excellent all-round players,and strengthen single-event technical training,which is the main goal direction of China's table tennis team in the next year.Based on the "three-stage index evaluation method of doubles" and referring to the research results of technical and tactical analysis of table tennis doubles matches in recent years,this study will take Japanese elite athletes Maharu/Ishikawa Kasumi,Morizono Masataka/ITO Mima Ito as the research objects to watch 18 mixed doubles matches in the past three years.Video observation,documentation and mathematical statistics are used to observe the 18 mixed doubles matches between the two pairs.This paper makes statistics and Analysis on the three-stage indexes of two pairs of elite table tennis players in mixed doubles in Japan.The results are as follows:1.In mixed doubles matches,Japanese athletes mostly use right and left hands,combining attack and defense.The score of service wheel is mainly in the first five boards,and the score of receiving wheel is mainly in the first four boards.2.Japanese women table tennis players in mixed doubles are characterized by serving to control the opponent's attack,short swing ability in the table,defensive control in the stalemate section,and poor offensive ability in the middle and far stages.Men's players have many changes in service rotation,strong ability to pick and twiston the stage,and outstanding forehand offensive skills.The most important means of scoring in mixed doubles competition are the male athletes' ability to twist and pull off the stage and to attack the forehand in the middle and far stage.3.Japanese table tennis players are flexible in the first four boards in mixed doubles tactical characteristics.They control opponents' short balls near the net,mainly by changing the straight line and pulling the big side corner of the backhand.The strength and speed of the ball in the stalemate turn are small,and the opponent's backhand baseline is the main one.4.In mixed doubles competition,there is a big gap between the technical and tactical characteristics of male and female athletes.Maharu front four forehand attack quality is high,initiative consciousness is strong,landing point changes a lot,Ishikawa Kasumi conservative and steady,offensive ability is poor,error rate is high,defensive technology effect is general.Morizono Masataka has outstanding service twisting and pulling technology,but poor continuous offensive ability,good quality of ITO Mima's fighting technology,and strong ability to control the landing point.The main scoring means of the two pairs of players are serve-attack and control-attack.5.Mixed doubles are mainly composed of left and right hands.Men's offensive ability is strengthened,and women's offensive and defensive switching technology will be the main training direction of Japanese table tennis players in the future.The male left-handed players have obvious advantages in receiving service in mixed doubles matches.In the future,the mixed doubles matching mode of male left-handed players and female right-handed players will become the trend.
