As one of the most prominent and irreplaceable concepts in the research of social psychology, attitude has been taken as the core content of the research by many foreign researchers and gradually learned by Chinese researchers.Domestic and foreign researchers design and use measurement of attitude to study people's attitudes.Various measurement paradigms have been developed from different perspectives for children. The researches on the development of children's racial attitudes and the intervention strategies of racial prejudice are made to provide a reference for reducing or even eliminating the possibility of racial discrimination in children. In this study, the preschool-friendly implicit association test and forced choice task was used to explore the development of children's racial attitudes and the effectiveness of face recognition training in eliminating children's racial prejudice. The study carried out two experiments:Experiment 1: We explored the development of implicit and explicit racial attitudes in children by using the preschool-friendly implicit association test(PSF-IAT)and forced choice task.We assumed that:(1)Children between 7 and 13 years old show negative attitudes towards blacks, both explicit and implicit.(2)Children between 7 and 13 years old showed negative attitudes toward whites, both explicit and implicit.(3)There was no correlation between explicit and implicit attitudes towards blacks among children aged 7-13 years.(4)There was no correlation between explicit and implicit attitudes towards white people among children aged 7-13.Experiment 2: We explored the effects of face recognition training on racial attitudes in children. We assumed that face recognition training can effectively weaken the negative racial attitudes of children.Through two experiments, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Children showed negative racial attitudes towards the faces of the black people black faces;children showed negative implicit and explicit racial attitudes towards the faces of the white people. There is a difference between the negative explicit and implicit racial attitudes of children towards black faces and the negative explicit and implicit racial attitudes of the white face.(2)Children's explicit racial attitudes and implicit racial attitudes towards black faces are irrelevant;children's explicit racial attitudes and implicit racial attitudes towards white faces are irrelevant.(3)Individuation training can reduce implicit racial prejudice and explicit racial prejudice.
