In the information age,the only way people can access information quickly and efficiently is by reading.Pre-school children's reading comprehension ability can predict their future academic achievement,and the development of children's reading ability is of great significance.As we all know,there are many factors that affect children's early reading ability,such as family reading environment,kindergarten reading environment and Teacher's guidance.5 ? 6-year-old children's reading ability is in the critical period of development.This study starts from the discussion of Children's family reading environment,and analyzes the correlation between Children's family reading environment and children's reading comprehension ability.In this study,449 parents from three kindergartens in Hangzhou were selected to compile the children's family reading environment questionnaire,and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested.On the basis of completing the questionnaire,83 children and their parents were randomly selected to carry out the test.First,the differences of reading comprehension ability and family reading environment on Gender and Family Economic and social status variables were discussed Then it analyzes the influence of family reading environment on children's reading comprehension ability.Finally,it gives some suggestions to the child discipline,and makes a summary and research prospect.The research results are as follows:(1)the Children's family reading environment questionnaire has four dimensions,which are family reading resources,parent-child reading interaction,parents' achievement expectation and parents' reading habits.Through the data analysis of SPSS,this questionnaire has good reliability and validity.(2)5 ? 6-year-old children's reading comprehension ability is in the middle level.There are significant differences in gender variables and family socioeconomic status variables in children's reading comprehension ability.The reading comprehension ability of 5-6-year-old girls is higher than that of boys,and the children's comprehension ability of explicit problems is better than that of implicit problems The reading comprehension ability of children with high socioeconomic status is significantly higher than that of children with low socioeconomic status.(3)The overall reading environment of children aged 5-6 years is in good condition.There is no gender difference in the family reading environment;the higher the family socioeconomic status,the better the family reading environment for young children.(4)The four factors in the family reading environment,namely,family reading resources,parent-child reading interaction,parental achievement expectation and parental reading habits,all form a positive prediction for the reading comprehension ability of children aged 5-6 years.The influence of these four dimensions in the family reading environment on children aged 5-6 years is as follows: parental reading habits> parent-child reading interaction> parental achievement expectation> family reading resources.
