?Compulsory Education Mathematical Curriculum Standards(2011 edition)?points out that reasoning is the basic way of thinking in mathematics,and it is also the way of thinking that people often use in their study and life.The development of reasoning ability should run through the whole process of mathematics learning.It can be seen that the role of mathematics in developing students' reasoning ability is incomparable and irreplaceable in other disciplines,and it has a lasting influence on students' growth and development.Moreover,the cultivation of mathematical reasoning ability is a gradual process,which must be paid attention to from the beginning of primary school mathematics.This study designed the mathematics reasoning ability test questions suitable for the fifth grade level and mathematics teacher questionnaires,supplemented by interviews and classroom observation methods,etc.,mainly studied: the status of the level of reasoning and the reasoning learning status of the fifth grade students of RC Primary School;RC primary school mathematics teacher's understanding of the theoretical connotation of "reasoning" and the teaching of student reasoning.Through the investigation,it is found that in the aspect of teachers,the understanding of the meaning of "inference" and the cultivation of students' reasoning ability have yet to be strengthened and deepened,and the lack of awareness of the ability of mathematics reasoning for primary school students is not realized..In terms of students,the overall level of mathematics reasoning of RC elementary school students needs to be improved as a whole;learning attitudes and interest in learning need to be further improved;good reasoning habits are not developed.Based on the analysis of the above status quo,this research puts forward several suggestions for cultivating the mathematics reasoning ability of primary school students: first,the school's attention and action;second,the optimization of mathematics teacher teaching;to achieve accurate and in-depth understanding of the connotation Pay attention to the cultivation of students' reasoning;follow thecharacteristics of students' development and improve the training methods in many aspects;thirdly,students should correct their attitudes in mathematics,actively participate in learning,and cultivate good habits of mathematical thinking.Fourth,parents' education concepts and behaviors are consistent,and they maintain close contact with schools and teachers.
