In the era of Internet economy, with the rapid technological changes, the market competition faced by enterprises has become increasingly fierce, which has led to a rapid change in the way of thinking, work style and lifestyle of employees. As a result, working family relationships have become more and more complicated.Especially in the era of “5G”,the rapid development of information industry makes managers' voices on “996” and “247” work systems rampant, which may lead to common work family conflict, which may induce negative emotion and produce negative tendency of employees, like increased emotional exhaustion and decreased job performance. At the same time, influenced by traditional feudal autocratic culture, the value of "official standard" is deeply rooted in all levels of Chinese society, corporate employees tend to pay more attention to the maintenance of supervisor-subordinate guanxi. This paper is divided into six chapters to discuss the mechanism of work-family relationship on job performance. The first chapter is composed of four factors: the research background, significance, main content & methods and research innovation, which is collectively referred to as the introduction. The second chapter is a literature review, which mainly sorts out the related literature of four variables, namely, work family relationship, emotional exhaustion, job performance and superior-subordinate guanxi. The third chapter is the theoretical model and research hypothesis, which constructs the research model and puts forward the research hypothesis. The fourth chapter is the research design, introducing the design of each variable and its scale, statistical analysis methods, questionnaire recovery and reliability & validity test. The fifth chapter is an empirical analysis. It conducts descriptive statistics on the collected data, and empirically tests the influence of work family relationship on job performance, the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion and the regulating effect of superior-subordinate guanxi. The sixth chapter is discussion and conclusion, which summarizes and discusses the research conclusions, provides relevant suggestions for enterprise managers, points out the research deficiencies and prospects for future research. This paper draws five valuable research conclusions through empirical test.At first, all dimensions of work-family relationship have a significant effect on job performance, and different dimensions have different effects on job performance.Secondly, the work family relationship has a significant impact on emotional exhaustion.Thirdly, emotional exhaustion has a significant negative effect on job performance.Fourthly, emotional exhaustion plays a suppressing effect between work-family conflict and job performance, and plays a partial mediation between the other three dimensions and job performance.Fifthly,supervisor-subordinate guanxi does not regulate the relationship between emotional exhaustion and job performance. However, when exploring the regulatory role of its three dimensions,it is found that emotional attachment has a significant effect on the regulation of emotional exhaustion and job performance.Work family conflict has been widely concerned by the academic community, but there is little concern about the positive spillover effects of work family enrichment on organizations or individuals. The results of this study are further enriching the relevant theories of work family relationship. At the same time, this research hopes to cause managers to pay attention to positive working family relationships, and provide them with an empirical reference for the impact of work family relationship on job performance and improved directions for future business management, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.
