In recent years,with the deepening of the reform of basic education,the demand for high-quality and high-ability teachers is increasing,which means to further improve the quality and ability of teachers.The quality of teachers is not only closely related to the quality of schools and students' achievements,but also to the future development of our country.On the way of training excellent teachers,we should first solve the teachers'worries.As two indispensable parts of an individual,work and family,teachers are faced with great pressure in both domains.First of all,the daily work of middle school teachers needs to face constantly updated educational means and contents as well as various student problems,Secondly,teachers should also take responsibility in their own families.This brings a lot of troubles to teachers in how to balance work and family.At the same time,these problems also have a lot of negative effects on Teachers' life and work.To help teachers solve the conflicts and contradictions between work and family,to alleviate the negative impact of such conflicts on teachers,and to promote teachers' high-quality growth and development has become an increasingly important issue.Work-family conflict,proposed by Kahn,who believed that there was a conflict in some aspects due to the different requirements of individual work and family roles at the same time.Since Kahn first put forward Work-family conflict,scholars have been studying the work-family conflict for half a century.The recent studies have proposed different influence models of work-family conflict on work and family.However,domestic studies pay more attention to the direct impact of work family conflict on work domain,such as employees' turnover intention and the reduction of work input.It is less to explore the mechanism of negative spillover of two dimensions of work family conflict on outcome variables at the same time.According to the conservation of resource theory,teachers will rely on their own resources to alleviate and solve the pressure and conflict in the face of the situation of pressure and conflict.Psychological capital is one of the most important psychological resources for individuals,which must be an important resource for them to deal with work family conflict.If the individual endures the conflict and contradiction from work and family continuously,it will lead to the decline of their own psychological capital level,and then teachers will have an impact on work and life.Work-family conflict is not only closely related to individual resources,but also related to teachers' emotional state.First of all,as a teacher,whether in the teaching process or in the daily management,they need to invest a lot of emotional feelings in students,and in this process,they will also encounter difficulties and setbacks,which is more likely to cause teachers to have bad emotions,which will not only affect the work of teachers,but also overflow into the family field.Secondly,a series of family problems,such as complicated family affairs,relationship with family,children's problems and so on,will also affect teachers'emotional state,which will also have a negative impact on Teachers' work and life.In addition,due to the loss of individual resources without timely supplement,it is easier to perceive threats from other aspects,that is to say,when the psychological level of teachers decreases,the perception of emotional exhaustion will increase.Therefore,this study intends to examine the effects of WIF,FIW on work satisfaction and life satisfaction,the mediating role of psychological capital and emotional exhaustion in their relationship.To investigate the relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction,life satisfaction,as well as its underlying mechanism,a sample of 560 secondary school teachers were recruited for the study.They were required to complete a battery of questionnaires,including Work-family conflict questionnaire,Psychological capital scale,Emotional exhaustion scale,Job satisfaction scale and Life satisfaction scale.Data were collected and analyzed with Mplus7.0 and SPSS 22.0,to analyze the moderated mediation model.The results indicated that:(1)Two types of Work-family conflict(WIF and FIW)are significantly negatively correlated with psychological capital job satisfaction and life satisfaction,they are significantly positively correlated with emotional exhaustion;emotional exhaustion was also a significant negatively correlation between job satisfaction and life satisfaction.(2)Both WIF and FIW can significantly predict secondary school teachers job satisfaction and life satisfaction,and psychological capital plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between WIF,FIW and job satisfaction and life satisfaction,emotional exhaustion also plays a mediating role in the relationship between WIF,FIW and job satisfaction and life satisfaction.(3)psychological capital and emotional exhaustion play a chain mediated role between WIF,FIW and job satisfaction,life satisfaction.This study complements and improves the mechanism of work family conflict on work,family and other personal lives by exploring the relationship between WIF,FIW and work satisfaction,life satisfaction.In addition,this study also provides new suggestions on how to alleviate the conflicts and contradictions between work and family faced by teachers,and further improve the job and life satisfaction of middle school teachers.
