The Ministry of Education has formulated the "China Program for Studying Abroad" and strives to expand the number of overseas students in China to 500,000 in 2020.In this context,how to effectively improve the quality of foreign students' teaching,how to use Chinese students as carriers to spread Chinese Wushu,how to overcome obstacles in the process of Wushu education for foreign students,and to accelerate the process of internationalization of Wushu are all issues worthy of our attention issue.In this paper,through literature and literature methods,interviews,questionnaires,case studies,mathematical statistics,and logic analysis,we started from the universities that conduct Wushu education for foreign students in China,and used questionnaires and interviews for professional sports colleges and universities.International students,teachers,and international student managers of universities and colleges conduct surveys.This study started with two typical cases of the British Jonathan couple and the Czech Wushu doctoral student Kai Jia.The study focused on the case study to deeply understand the Wushu education of foreign students.They spread the influencing factors of Chinese Wushu and on this basis find out the inadequacies of Wushu education for foreign students.Conclusions are as follows:(1)International student education is an important part of higher education.Many of the foreign students coming to China come to study Chinese Wushu.Developing Wushu education is crucial for international students to become potential international Wushu talents.(2)Research on the status of Wushu education for foreign students shows that: In professional sports colleges,the number of international students receiving Wushu education has been on a downward trend,leading to this downward trend.In universities and colleges,Beijing Language and Culture University has a large number of overseas students.At the same time,it also offers Wushu courses for international students.It is also set up as a school-characterized curriculum.In terms of the number of surveys and retrieving questionnaires,the number of international students receiving Wushu education in this college is considerable.(3)International students learn and like Chinese Wushu through multiple channels.The impact of film and television on foreign students is relatively large;the students of professional sports colleges and the students of ordinary colleges and universities have slightly different motivations for using Wushu,as most of the students study abroad before coming to China.All have Wushu experience,so their motivation is mostly to learn the real Chinese Wushu.The motivation of foreign students in ordinary colleges and universities is to learn Chinese traditional culture and strengthen their physical fitness;(4)The major learning contents in the Wushu teaching for foreign students in ordinaryinstitutions of higher learning are Taijiquan,Changquan,and traditional boxing.Professional sports colleges can provide corresponding teaching according to the needs of foreign students.(5)There are still some problems in the martial arts education for foreign students,such as insufficient attention from schools,teachers' dissatisfaction with salary and salary,and lack of bilingual ability of teachers.These have become obstacles for the development of martial arts for foreign students,and are important factors influencing the quality of martial arts teaching for foreign students;the management of foreign students Pattern confusion is a problem that has existed for a long time;hardware facilities(sites,teaching materials,etc.)cannot meet teaching needsThe case of Jonathan and Kaijia shows that our Wushu education for overseas students is effective.We have typical examples of success,but there are still some problems in the survey.Based on the analysis of the above research status,the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Making use of the resources of colleges and universities,this platform for college students attaches great importance to the training of high-level international students,and strengthens the contact and exchanges between ordinary universities and professional sports colleges,and resource sharing;To jointly promote the smooth implementation of Wushu education for overseas students;2.The relevant Wushu management departments and institutions of the state should play a corresponding role in demonstration,guidance,and promotion,increase the propaganda of Chinese Wushu,and promote the dissemination of Wushu culture;3.The school should pay more attention to Enhance the cooperation between the International Education Institute(International Education Center)and relevant departments of Wushu internationalization promotion,set up an organization or institution that is responsible for Wushu teaching for overseas students,improve the management system,formulate long-term development mechanisms,and establish competitions for Wushu teaching among foreign students.Training system,organize teachers to compile Wushu special materials that meet the characteristics of international students,to meet the needs of foreign students to learn Wushu;4.Establish a certification system for foreign martial art teacher qualifications,establish a high-level teacher team,cultivate a martial arts skill that is versatile and versatile,have good language communication skills,have the ability to control and change teaching methods flexibly,and possess a certain historical and cultural knowledge base to establish martial arts communication.New international image;5.strive to expand the Wushu internationalization channels,expand the students' source of studying Wushu in China,and make Wushu teaching for foreign students.Towards normalization,scale,and sustainability;6.Schools should incorporate Wushu education for foreign students into the teaching management system,and ensure that they have a class hour;and increase funding forteaching infrastructure such as Wushu teaching venues,equipment,and teaching materials for foreign students.Investment to improve the teaching environment.
