The Investigation Of The Collaborative Development Of Wushu Festivals In Jing Jin Ji Regions

Under the historical opportunity of “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration" and“Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development”this study investigates martial arts festivals in these spaces.Grounded in the theories of cultural studies,history,and collaboration,four representative wushu(Chinese martial arts)festivals were selected.Utilizing research methods of literature review,interviews,field observation,and logical analysis will help understand the four cases chosen.By looking at the basic information,competition events,the number of participants,the peripheral activities of the wushu festivals,this thesis explores the special features and the deficiencies of these festivals.Simultaneously,the study discusses the opportunities as well as constrains under the backdrop of “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development.” With such an understanding of,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei wushu festival coordinated development,including the position of wushu festivals,the principles necessary to follow,and the developmental stages are conceived and elaborated step by step.It,to a certain extent,provides theoretical references to the practical application in terms of beijing-tianjin-hebei wushu culture and festival coordinated development?The study draws the following conclusions:(1)Through the analysis about the development of Wushu culture in Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei and due to the historical development of Wushu festival,it is believed that the festival is closely related to the environment of the place where it was held,astronomical calendar,national beliefs,group psychology,etc.The development of Wushu festival is a product about modernization and holding it is an important way to inheritance and protection of Wushu.(2)Case study indicated that wushu festivals in all three cities,Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei,currently receive substantial local governmental support.Cities are equipped with a sufficient hosting experience,and these wushu festivals contain their local customs.Wushu demos,conferences,industrial negotiations,contract signing ceremonies,etc.peripheral wushu related activities are hosted as the festivals take place.However,there is also space for improvement;there is no administrative organizations specifically for these event development,and the intensity of the promotion as well as events management and assurance require further improvement.(3)Taking advantage of this national development strategy(beijing-tianjin-hebei coordinated development)along with numerous supporting policies,the rich wushu culture heritage itself,tourist,technological,human resources,etc.The beijing-tianjin-hebei wushu festival coordinated development is developing rapidly.(4)There are many influential factors of “beijing-tianjin-hebei” wushu festival coordinated development:1)Although three cities share boarders,there is discrepancies regarding cultural values due to the longstanding division of administrative regions.2)There are discrepancies regarding operational resources,for one possess strong policy and financial support,one has an advantage for dissemination or promotion,and another has vigorous wushu foundation.3)Due to the lack of communication between the three places,it restricts these local features to be developed in coordination.(5)Under the backdrop of “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration",“Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development" and the?Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei fitness and leisure sports coordinated development plan(2016-2025)?,constructing“Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei” wushu festival is a practical step of implementation“Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development".Constructing “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei”wushu festival is not only an important approach to promote traditional Chinese culture and enrich wushu activities,but it also contributes to mutual respect,mutual benefit,and cooperated development between these three places.
