Sports is a special kind of social and cultural activity created by mankind.In the shaping of such cultural activities,teaching is particularly important to allow students to develop better and faster and truly learn in sports.The development of teaching technology and the implementation of policies and regulations in different countries and regions reflect the differences in the development of sports teaching.Theory is the highest scientific hall.As a prerequisite for practical activities,the theory enriches the development of disciplines and the innovation and sublimation of knowledge.To truly improve the quality of physical education through the study of theory,it is necessary to grasp the essential attributes of physical education.To a certain extent,it is necessary to improve the theoretical knowledge level and build a bridge between related theories and teaching practice in the field of physical education.To a certain extent,it clears the trend of research changes in the field of physical education and grasps the academic dynamics.The paper uses 1917 articles in the Chinese core journals of Peking University edition from the CNKI database and 3625 journals of the foreign Web of science database,which focuses on physical education as the data sources in the period of2002-2016.The Citespace III software is used for comparative analysis of domestic and foreign sports teaching literature,based on co-occurrence analysis and word frequency analysis.The paper learns respectively from the number of documents and development trends,mainstream academic knowledge groups,the distribution of research institutions,research hotspots,etc.,describing the trend of development in the field of physical education and the research situation at home and abroad.It also clears differences in the development of sports teaching at home and abroad and learns from foreign advanced experience in the development of physical education teaching and then provides reference and inspiration for the in-depth development of China's physical education teaching research.Through the relevant analyzes of this paper,the following conclusions are drawn:First of all,the paper reviews the evolution of the past 15 years in the field of physical education at home and abroad.The research in the field of physical education is deeply influenced by relevant factors such as national policies and regulations,social status and guiding ideology in different periods.It is characterized by the times and stages.Secondly,the core authors in the field of physical education in China are relatively dispersed with low connectivity and obvious differences in background.The links between the authors of foreign PE teaching research are relatively close and a relatively stable core author knowledge group has formed.The direction of research in the field of physical education is relatively clear and the characteristics of students are further analyzed from the aspects of humanities and psychology.Thirdly,research institutes in the field of physical education in China are widely distributed.However,generally speaking,there are few external exchanges in research institutes in the field of physical education in China.It lacks the motivation mechanism for knowledge innovation.The research institutes in the field of physical education in foreign countries are mainly in the United States and mostly focused on comprehensive universities.The links between institutions are relatively close and the research results are diverse and innovative.Fourthly,the research hotspots in the field of physical education in China often focus on the macro level,rarely on middle and micro perspectives.The content of the research in the field of physical education is fragmented and the topics are diversified.The researches in the field of physical education are mainly in foreign countries and hot spots are focus on the micro level in the aspects of health activities,education methods,sports thinking and learning psychology.
