On Social Science Experiments And Development Of Social Science

Social science experiment is an empirical research method and practice with the purpose of social science research.Under the condition of some artificial designs and with a limited number of reality as the research object,it controls and simulates some social factors or social conditions to examine the causal relationships among some social phenomenon,so as to reveal the laws of the development and changes of social phenomenon.Social science experiment can be divided into realistic experiment,model experiment,theory-driven experiment and experience-driven experiment.Through the investigation of the development history of social science,the development of social science can be divided into two stages,including the primary stage of social science based on general social practice and the advanced stage of social science based on social science experiment.The primary stage of social science is theoretically characterized by the integration of critical research and empirical research,the expression of experience and facts in natural languages and the close connection between mathematics and experiment.The advanced stage of social science development is characterized by the transformation of empirical research paradigm,the close combination of mathematics and experiment,and the formation of experimental resear-ch methodology centering on measurement.Corresponding to the macro-process that social science experiment promotes social science to develop from"primary" to "advanced" stage,social science experiment provides empirical and fact basis for the emergence of social science theory at the micro level.Some core questions like how people become the object of social science experiment,what complicated epistemological questions will occur due to people as the research object,how social science facts emerge from social science experiments,and how social science facts check the theories of social science,are important in figuring out how social science experiments provide objective experience and facts for social science.
