With the continuous promotion and implementation of the curriculum reform aimed at developing the core literacy of Chinese students,The National Biology Curriculum Standards for High School(2017 Edition)proposes specific core literacy of biology,including scientific thinking.Homework,as a supplement of teaching content,plays an important role in cultivating students' comprehensive development,implementing the core literacy of biology and other aspects.This paper attempts to optimize the design of high school biology homework based on the purpose of cultivating scientific thinking,so as to make up for the shortcoming of traditional homework that emphasizes knowledge transmission and practice the core literacy of biology.Firstly,adopting the literature research,the author of this paper formulates the research purpose,significance and idea,sorts out and defines the relevant concepts,establishes the theoretical basis of this study,and finally forms the literature review part of this paper,on the basis of consulting a large number of relevant literature and understanding of the current research at home and abroad.The main research methods involved in this paper include literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,observation and case analysis.Secondly,since the aim of this study is to find out the current situation of high school biology homework design and implementation,this paper selects students from three classes of grade two of a senior high school in Qilihe district of Lanzhou city and biology teachers of this school as the research objects,and investigated 140 students and 7 biology teachers by questionnaire and interview respectively.From the survey results,the teachers generally lack further understanding of “scientific thinking” and have low degree of self-creation for homework;Students as a whole have a good potential to form and develop scientific thinking,but their homework is put too much emphasis on knowledge strengthening,which ignores the comprehensive development of students.Based on the above conclusions,the author puts forward some strategies to improve the current situation.next,puts forward the idea that student homework should be designed aroundknowledge,thinking method and attitude,according to the interpretation of the connotation of scientific thinking by curriculum standards and relevant literature,and formulates the principles and specific process of high school biology homework design based on the cultivation of scientific thinking,and finally,carries out the research and analyzes the implementation effect.Through practice,the following conclusions are drawn: 1,The optimized homework can help students build a more complete knowledge system;2,The optimized homework helps students develop the habit of scientific thinking;3,The quality of students' homework has been further improved;4,The students' ability to summarize biological knowledge has been improved;5,The students' ability to analyze and solve problems with scientific thinking has been improved;6,There has been a great change in students' attitude towards biology homework and knowledge.7,Improving the quality of education and teaching effectively.At the end of this paper,while pointing out the shortcomings of this research,then puts forward the prospect and provides some suggestions.
