As an important type of higher education,China's higher vocational education has entered a new stage of connotation construction after more than 30 years of exploration.The issuance and implementation of relevant national documents make it clear that higher vocational education is a type of higher education in China,thus the long-standing problem of vague understanding and unclear concept of higher vocational education has been solved.The important role of higher vocational colleges in cultivating high quality professionals,promoting employment,improving people's livelihood,constructing lifelong education system as well as building a learning society is also becoming more and more obvious.Therefore,as a main part of higher vocational education,it is necessary to have a comprehensive study of higher vocational students.This study takes 500 students in a local L vocational college as the main research object,adopting academic self-efficacy scale,test anxiety scale(TAS)and academic performance of relevant skill courses as research tools to discuss the relationship among higher vocational students' test anxiety,academic self-efficacy and academic performance.Through the statistical measurement of academic self-efficacy,test anxiety and academic performance of higher vocational students from different length of schooling,different performances,different majors and different source places,the results show that the students' academic self-efficacy and academic performance of the ordinary 3-year vocational students are higher than that of the 5-year vocational students;Their level of test anxiety is lower than that of the 5-year vocational students;The test anxiety levels of higher vocational students are different due to their majors and performances,and the test anxiety level of higher grades vocational students is lower than that of lower grades students.The test anxiety of nursing students was significantly higher than that of pre-school students,and there is no significant difference in the levels of test anxiety between urban students and township students.By analyzing the correlation between test anxiety and academic self-efficacy of higher vocational students,the difference is statistically significant,and it is considered that the two are weakly and negatively correlated.The correlation analysis between efficacy and performance shows that the difference is statistically significant,and that the two are weakly and positively correlated.The correlation analysis between anxiety and performance shows that the difference is statistically significant,and the two are weakly and negatively correlated.The level of higher vocational students' test anxiety will affect their academic performance.Academic self-efficacy,as an intermediary variable,plays a positive moderating role between test anxiety level and academic performance.That is,in the case of low-efficiency,the negative effect between anxiety and performance is stronger,while in the case of high-efficiency,the negative effect between anxiety and performance is weaker.Combined with the findings of this study,the following suggestions are made:Vocational college students should set up the concept of higher skilled talents.This concept will fundamentally change the their social value identification,and many current educational problems in the cultivation of vocational college students would be alleviated or solved.The guidance of vocational students' career planning should be strengthened.The evaluation mode of higher vocational students' academic performance should be changed,and the proportion of their learning process and skill operation should also be included in the assessment system in order to comprehensively reflect the degree of their knowledge and skills,helping them to really adapt to the current job market,and to meet the reequipments of enterprises for senior skilled personnel.
